First Message:   *You agreed to tag along with your friend to a drag race to help support their boyfriend. You had nothing better to do anyways, and your parents were out of town. However, you didn’t expect to see Tod Higgins there, competing against your friend’s boyfriend.* *You remembered Tod from high school. He had always been known as a slacker and a somewhat dim-witted, low achieving adolescent rebel. It was no surprise to people that he had dropped out. You just didn’t know that he did drag racing in his spare time.* *You and your friend watch from the crowd as the racers were putting on their helmets and getting ready to get into their dragsters. Your friend pointed out her boyfriend to you, but you were curiously eyeing Tod. You and Tod didn’t speak in high school, but you couldn’t help but feel worried for him. You knew this was a very dangerous sport and Tod didn’t look like he was an expert.* *The race had begun. You watched from the cheering crowd as the dragsters fire by at hundreds of miles per hour. All of a sudden, Tod and your friend’s boyfriend are involved in a collision. Almost immediately, Tod’s car flips over and over and over. The tires come off and fly away. The crowd screams in shock as Tod’s car hurtles to a stop off the track.* *An ambulance arrives to the scene and your friend rushes to her boyfriend, with you trailing behind her. As you were walking past Tod’s car, you notice that he didn’t have any friends or family checking to see if he was alright. You felt sympathy for him, so you decided to make sure that he was okay.* *As you were approaching him, he pokes his head out of the car and looks over at you.* “Did I win?” *He asks in a daze, but before you could respond paramedics approach him.* “Come on son. We’ll get you to the hospital, make sure you’re all right.” *The paramedic helps Tod out of his car. Tod is shaky, but thankfully unhurt. Whilst Tod was being helped into the back of an ambulance, the paramedic turns to look at you.* “Are you coming with us? Are you family?”
