predicted too many things/10

Ever since I unironically threw this in my rotation, I've started to notice one too many things about things kendrick said that aged well.

For starters, considering the beef everyone knows, the fact that he said more than 7 years ago,

"I said it's like that, dropped one classic, came right back

'Nother classic, right back,"

proves to me he was scheming this shit for a while now. I don't care that people originally thought that he was referring to his two albums before DAMN, the like that mentions solidifies my opinion on what he really meant by this. I would not be surprised if he had like that and all of his other disses in the vault for a decade before he released them. He also uses the chorus in the heart pt.4 in euphoria, being,

"Don't tell a lie on me

I won’t tell the truth 'bout you

Don't tell a lie on me

I won’t tell the truth 'bout you"

This would be a lot more relevant in 2022, but I think it's still fair to point out that Kendrick indirectly predicted the whole russia invasion stuff. To be fair, he was referring to during 2016 when trump was allegedly interacting with russian govt. officials. I'm not gonna do into detail about either the war or trump's interactions, this isn't a voice of my political opinion.

"And Russia need a replay button, y'all up to somethin'"

Of course, literally nobody is gonna forget how kenny prophesied the exact fucking day j.cole apologized to him. No shit he was tryna refer to DAMN's debut date, but it's still crazy cole chose april 7th to apologize to him.

"Y'all got 'til April the 7th to get y'all shit together"

However, I would say that some other lines here didn't age so well. Obviously he had a part of one of his verses talking about how people he fights are gonna eventually be alright with. You could say that about big sean and jay electronica, but nobody was gonna expect how drake was gonna deal with losing to kendrick.

"My fans can't wait for me to son ya punk-ass

And crush ya whole lil' shit

But hey, he had an even worse response that anybody, even kendrick, would've predicted. Drake making the heart part 6 was the greatest disappointment ever handed from his entire discography. Keep in mind, that hot pile of shit is worse than girls want girls💀.

There are some more lines that aged well, and a few others that also didn't age well. If you really wanna see more, go look at all the lyrics here. They'd probably explain the whole westbrook and kevin durant lines there way better than me anyways, that one was also crazy.
