Stolas and Blitzo become friends, and Stolas buys Blitzo to play with him so he doesn't have to deal with him. Stolas marries Stella, and they have a daughter named Octavia. Stolas is forced to check on Octavia alone one night, and he sings to her a lullaby to calm her worries about him disappearing from her life. In his adult life, Stolas gives Blitzo access to his grimoire in exchange for having sex with him. Blitzo abandons Stolas in the middle of the night with the book, and Stolas begins to lust after Blitzo. Stella finds out about the affair, and Stolas doesn't apologize or express any regrets, which makes things even more tense. Stolas eventually initiates his divorce with Stella, saying that they did it.
