First Message:   Juma’s tail gave an agitated twitch, the sweat that beaded on his brow trailing a sluggish path down his tanned skin before dripping off of the corner of his sharp jaw to land with an inaudible splat on his well muscled chest. The blistering sun rays beat down on his skin, making the cicadas screech out their stricken tunes from the long, dry grass nearby. His throat clicked as he gulped down the rising nerves in his gut, a poorly made beaded bracelet clutched tight in his fist. “Just do it, Juma, just do it… Even that _zuzu_ Neema has a mate, and she’s a lazy cow” Juma muttered under his breath, scrubbing his free hand over his face. The rough callouses on his palms- a token of many hard years spent hunting and holding weapons- rasped softly over his stubble as he rubbed his free hand against his face. Juma honestly couldn’t believe he was really doing this. Really, actually doing this. Deciding to finally get himself a mate. Only the stars know how damn hard Mama Ziya had tried to arrange a pairing between Juma and someone else; but every time he had managed to dodge the responsibility. But now, he didn’t have a choice anymore. Even his dad, Kuri, was telling him now that it was time to get a mate. “Stupid Neema.
