At the final battle, Pierce transforms into the Spider Mastermind but is killed by the Slayer. Hayden, aiming to continue Argent energy production, takes the Crucible from the Slayer and teleports him away to an unknown location, anticipating his opposition to the plan. With the Celestial Locator, the Slayer defeats Ranak in the UAC Arctic facility and tracks down Grav in Sentinel Prime. Following Hayden's guidance, he retrieves the Crucible and defeats the Marauder. After blowing a hole in Mars, the Slayer reaches Sentinel Prime, kills the Gladiator, and decapitates Grav. However, his actions lead to excommunication from the Night Sentinels. Temporarily trapped on the Fortress by the Khan Maykr, the Slayer restores its power using the demonic Crucible. Guided by Hayden, the Slayer travels to Argent D'Nur, retrieves his Crucible, and forges a new blade. He interrupts the Icon's awakening on the Maykr realm of Urdak, destroying the dimensional barrier between Urdak and Hell. After killing the Khan Maykr, the Slayer returns to Earth, defeats the Icon of Sin, and opens a portal to Urdak. Despite leaving VEGA behind, he kills the Icon using the Crucible. With the Hell Priests, Khan Maykr, and Icon defeated, demons are momentarily defeated.).
