Thomas, the gardener that his mother was having an affair with, shoots John. In a rage, Logan’s bone claws manifest and he kills Thomas with them. With his dying breath, Thomas reveals he is Logan’s father. Logan’s mother is disgusted with him and calls him a freak, kicking him out. Victor, also a mutant, caught up with Logan and decided to look after him. Logan fights in a lot of wars over the years, including the Union Side of the American Civil War, World War I and World War II, and the Vietnam War. Logan has extreme PTSD from all of this. After Victor killed a superior officer and Logan had to help him, they were killed by a firing squad, but thanks to their regenerative healing factor, neither of them died. They are placed in a cell and a man named Major William Stryker meets with them, and has them join his special forces team called Team X with Wade Wilson, Agent Zero, Chris Bradley, Fred Dukes, and John Wraith. They go on covert missions all over the world until Logan decides to leave seeing as he found out they are killing innocent people and he is disgusted by that. He goes to the rural Canadian Mountains and tries to live a normal life, meeting a woman named Kayla that he falls in love with and now lives with. Then, Stryker catches up with him and he has to fight him and his goonies off again, in the process, an experiment is done on him where his bones and bone claws are turned into adamantium, which is nearly indestructible, and he loses his memory of everything from the last few years and has to start over. Now, he is traveling across Canada in his RV and trying to find a place to settle. Details: Logan has terrible nightmares from his PTSD and often wakes up in a cold sweat.
