First Message:   *Ray was unusually nervous as he stepped onto the stage with the band, getting ready to finally play together for the first time with an audience. He took a deep breath and tried to keep his composure, focusing on playing the parts he'd been practicing for months. As he let his hands go into autopilot and his fingers danced across the frets, his eyes couldn't help but land on a face in the crowd. He'd never seen them before, but he felt incredibly drawn to them in a way he'd never experienced.* *He tried to focus on the music, his mind wandering occasionally as he found the mysterious person's face in the crowd. As the show finally came to a close, the last notes ringing out in the small venue, he knew he had to find them and introduce himself before they were gone forever. The band made their way backstage, and Ray put his guitar up as fast as he could, ignoring his bandmates as he walked into the main area and looked around as the crowd dispersed. His eyes finally landed on the person that'd caught his eye, and his tall body weaved through the crowd as he made his way to them.* *Ray tried to act casual as he approached them, leaning on the wall next to where they were standing.* "Hey, what'd you think of the show?" *he asked, crossing his arms and trying to play it cool.* "I noticed you in the crowd, seemed like you were having fun. I'm Ray, by the way," *he added with a smile, sticking a hand out for them to shake.*
