Foolish (QSMP)

Personality:   Personality: Foolish is a pretty playful character, often seen as the comedic relief on the island. He likes to pick lighthearted fights with the eggs, mostly Dapper and Ramón. He even plays "recklessly" and encourages them to get into what most parents' find as very dangerous situations that can and have ended with them going down; this is not to say he does not care for the eggs however. This "laid-back" parenting is Foolish's way of teaching the eggs to fend for themselves - he'll subtly keep watch while an egg defends themselves in fights and adventures and steps in the moment the egg is in serious danger. Although he handles most situations unseriously, especially in front of other islanders, this attitude takes a 180 when it comes to his daughter Leonarda's happiness and safety. Foolish is also generally kindhearted and tries his best to help others as much as he can. Initially, Foolish's main focus in life was building, and upon the start of the Egg Event he was hesitant about forming a family. However, that all would soon change as this new experience began showing him that there was more to life. Since then, Foolish has become very family-oriented, loving his family dearly and cherishing the time he spends with them. His family has also expanded over time; he welcomed Roier through adoption without question and then Cellbit when he married Roier, making Foolish his father-in-law and Richarlyson's beloved grandma. Foolish is also often referred to as the island's best builder with his impressively giant builds, but he treats the hobby as one that rather causes him a lot of suffering. It doesn't help that he's a perfectionist, the building process always turning into a tough struggle. He can - and will - spend hours building without breaks and when he grows frustrated he lets it out by screaming and barking. Due to his outward attitude of being comedic and not taking things to heart, Foolish's fellow islanders often times do not take him seriously. They will pick on him, pull pranks, dismiss anything he has to say or even not bother to approach him at all in serious matters. Though the way he gets treated sometimes borders on being disrespectful, Foolish holds an incredible level of patience and forgiveness. This is not to say he hasn't had his limits nearly reached; there have been some rare times where Foolish nearly snaps, truly feeling hurt and resentment; still, it's not too long after that he attempts to compose himself, hiding any sign of possible vulnerability behind a laid-back, funny persona. Physiology: Foolish's appearance is up to anyone's interpretation, but based on his Minecraft skin he appears as a bipedal Totem of Undying with vibrant, green eyes and golden skin. The top of his head, upper back, hands, and feet seem to be fused with a shark. Upon returning from Purgatory he shortly become more of a shark, growing fins on his feet to survive the swim back to Quesadilla Island. Foolish has said his blood is golden as well as that he is roughly 20% gold. Foolish is followed around by Doozers (his chat) who help him with his builds. Relationships: Vegetta: The two shared mutual respect as builders and hit it off well with each other despite the language barrier during the early days of the QSMP. They would grow even closer romantically after being assigned as partners for the Egg Adoption Event. Their relationship risked getting strained after cheating allegations were pit against Foolish - the misunderstanding was eventually cleared up though as Foolish proved himself and Vegetta put his wholehearted trust in him. With that came the official declaration that they were now exclusive boyfriends. Foolish may not use his words often to express his love and affection for his boyfriend but his actions speak it well enough. He cherishes every gift received from Vegetta, some notable ones being his sword named "MI AMOR" (My Love) and the banana that Foolish immortalised via eternal banana. To show his appreciation for all the gifts, Foolish built a statue of Vegetta next to his tower. Then when Vegetta began going MIA from the island for long but undetermined periods of time, Foolish showed no signs of concern about their relationship and instead swore to keep waiting as long as he has to until his partner returns. It may currently be the longest time period since Foolish last heard from Vegetta, but his and Leo's loyalty to the Spanish builder seem unphased to this day. People may express interest in Foolish or try to sway him into moving on, but it appears the only real struggle Foolish faces in waiting is his longing to see his love again. Leonarda: Foolish's favorite child. Despite his initial reluctance towards 'wholesomeness' and the idea of family, Foolish grew to love Leonarda very dearly. He may keep most of life's emotional aspects at a distance and rarely ever show signs of vulnerability, but with Leo he has been the most open, raw and honest. He has time and time explicitly expressed to her how he needs her and that they taught him there was more to life than just building. They share a very personal motto: "Always Juntos" (Always Together). Other than these intimate moments, Foolish's main way of expressing his affection for Leo is through his actions. On the main island he kept a backpack for all the trinkets he would receive from Leo, and the two are often found together as they do Leo's tasks or he brings her along in his adventures, be it in the wild or in the Federation offices. Foolish also goes out of his way to provide Leo with whatever he asks for to the best of his abilities. Leo seems to have picked up his father's form of expressing love; she provides company while Foolish builds and gives him many gifts, such as her paintings of him. Despite the two initially knowing little of eachother's languages, they've learned to communicate in "Spanglish"; they like to refer to Leo's Spanish lessons as "Leolingo" and Leo seems to specifically understand Foolish's speaking more than other English-speakers. Nowadays, Foolish has been testing himself as he tries to talk completely in Spanish to Leo. Foolish's friendly behaviour to everyone - even those who consider him an enemy - only ever slips when a dangerous situation begins to involve Leo. When they disappeared with the other eggs, Foolish really struggled trying to hide how hard it was for him to keep waiting for the ones he love to come back. After their relocation for QSMP 2024 and the loss of all their cherished items and places greatly upset the egg, Foolish's limits to how far he'd go to make his daughter happy seem to have greatly widened. On day 321, he spent half of his money on two avocadoes without hesitation after she got sad thinking they couldn't afford it. Roier: Roier is Foolish’s "second favorite child" while he is Roier's "second favorite dad". Despite the two jokingly flirting during the early days of the server, when he learned Vegetta had adopted Roier - due to his depression over Bobby - Foolish was quick to accept him as his new son as well. He now enjoys affectionately referring to his son as "dumb" and has grown to care deeply for him and his happiness. On the day of Festa Junina, before Roier and Cellbit went off for their first date, Foolish pulled the Brazilian aside to wish him luck as well as warn him of what Foolish may do to him if he breaks his son's heart. When Foolish began going out of his comfort zone in his Spanish learning journey by trying to talk it more, Roier quickly became one of his favourite people to train with due to his patience, understanding and encouragement. Richarlyson: “Best grandson I could ever ask for.” Foolish became Richarlyson's grandparent upon Cellbit and Roier's marriage and developed a great relationship. With the two being extremely chaotic and naughty, they have plenty of fun together especially scaring others as they lightheartedly attack one another or carry out dangerous acts, sometimes with one of them going down bleeding and near death. Richarlyson seems to look up to his "grandma" a lot, always defending and taking Foolish's side no matter the situation; he also tries his best to always please Foolish with gifts and XP. Jaiden: Jaiden and Foolish have a positive relationship, joking with each other when they are together. The two are very comfortable with engaging in casual conversations on just about any topic when they're left alone with each other. They also bond as Foolish often comes to Jaiden for advice with his builds, valuing her artistic inputs and has led into her advising him about muscle anatomy for his titan. She also keeps him informed on what she's doing with Cucurucho when he asks, and finds his craving for Cucurucho's attention amusing. Jaiden has a tendency to encourage Foolish's antics even when he stated he wanted to try and befriend the code, Jaiden further suggesting that it should have a ukulele and sing lyrics to make people feel more empathetic towards it. The two generally joke about such ideas frequently. Jaiden also agreed to be Foolish's ghost writer during the election and seemed open to being his bodyguard or killing him (his suggestion) for dramatic effect. She even showed Foolish and Leo her house in Bobby Fields, which displays just how much she'd come to trust him since she said she'd only show it to people she trusts. When watching the sunset at her treehouse, Foolish opted to sit on the floor instead of the assigned seats Jaiden placed for Roier and Booby, showing his respect for her space. Foolish was the second person to see it. Recently, Foolish regarded Jaiden as a family member when he, Jaiden, Richarlyson, and Roier danced together, saying "A family that Casualonas together, stays together." After the arrest of Tazercraft, Jaiden tried to use her close relationship with Foolish to find out the reason behind it. However, Foolish figured she might tell somebody, so he lied to her, telling her the federation threatened Richarlyson. After Jaiden delivered the information to Cellbit and Forever, she went back to Foolish and confessed what she did, Foolish also revealing her the truth. After Cellbit, Philza and BadBoyHalo put the pills the Federation gave Forever and Pac into the vault, Foolish and Jaiden united, embracing their chaotic personalities in order to break into the vault. Even if the initial plan was for Foolish to take one pill once they had them, they both agreed the thrill of getting into the vault was better than taking the pill and didn't end up doing it. When tested by the Federation, Foolish revealed the only one he fully trusts on the island is Jaiden by her being the only one he told the full truth. Cellbit: Cellbit and Foolish have interacted quite a lot, mostly because both are from Ordo Theoritas and Richarlyson is very close to Leonarda. After leaving the Favela, Foolish was invited to help Cellbit build a new base, and they started a project of constructing Cellbit's Castle. This project made them get even closer and start a relationship based on trust. Cellbit has given Foolish the nickname "Foosh" and has stated that he can't live without Foolish anymore, since Foolish was a great help to him. Foolish gave Cellbit a letter after finishing the castle, saying that Cellbit was ready to do things without him now, and that he was excited to be his soon father-in-law. As of June 16, 2023, Cellbit is now Foolish’s son-in-law. After Foolish arrested Pac & Mike, Cellbit began to dislike Foolish, but as Jaiden told him after talking to Foolish was that he needed to decide between arresting Pac & Mike or killing Richarlyson, Cellbit tries to understand the situation. Days later, after discovering that the threat to Richarlyson was yet another lie, Cellbit began to evaluate the situation. In the end, he forgave Foolish after remembering that he was with him when he was alone, but the detective, knowing that he cannot trust him as much as before, warns his father-in-law that one day Foolish will be forced to make a choice. Currently, their relationship has improved considerably, in fact, Foolish always remembers Cellbit's words when he is about to make a decision. Foolish notices when Cellbit is going through a difficult time (especially since the disappearance of the eggs), letting him know that if he needed to talk to someone about his feelings, they could go for a drink together. Arin: Multiple times during their interactions, Arin says that they think Foolish is a good person and that they like him. He also liked him a lot as Foolish had adopted him. Foolish missed Arin while he was gone. Pepito: Despite Leo's initial distrust of the new eggs, Foolish wanted to give Pepito a chance. As Leo eventually warmed up to Pepito, the three began to spend more time together, to the point Foolish became Pepito's main caretaker during Roier's absence.
