So...

Some goofball thought it'd be funny to break my trust and get me to download their game.

No, not 2011x. But some random on Discord posing themselves to be someone I could trust, calling me things like "friend", and talking to me for a few days, albeit delayed.

Now, you're probably thinking — "Shadic, why the hell would you trust some random stranger you don't know and download their game?"

That, my guy, is what I thought in the back of my head, too. But they seemed really nice. Don't get me wrong, I checked every link and kept my distance, even lying about several things, which I usually do when I don't trust people all that much.

Not to mention, I was feeling oddly nice and happy about my day, too. It was saddening to hear about it.

Now, great. I have trust issues on Discord, of all things. So, if you're planning on contacting me, do it through my Discord server, because I'm not gonna be accepting friend requests so hastily anymore. Or, warn me first before you friend me. Because holy...the moment someone I do not know at all asks me to download a game I don't know at all, I am BLOCKING them.

It was something by the name of "Infinity Kingdom". But, obviously, if anyone ever DMs or friends you asking you to download that, DO NOT FALL FOR THE SAME THING I DID.

I feel like an idiot now tbh, feeding the funnel, but I didn't give them any money. Because as soon as you download the game, they'll direct you to someone else and they'll cocerce you into buying their package. Mine was 100$. ONE HUNDRED.

Now, again, I don't nearly feel as bad as I did all those other times I had an outburst, but it was still annoying and a let down to come across nonetheless.

So be wary, and don't be an idiot like me by downloading everything sent to you, clicking on links, or even talking to them.
