The amount of universes that exist is Infinite. There all types of dimensions within the multiverse, and may possess similarities with other sister universes. Tails has hypothesized that Sonic, for example, may have an infinite number of alternate versions of himself because of the vastness of the multiverse. Quantum universe hypothesis explains the existence of multiverse due to infinite possible events, meaning that since the multiverse is infinite, every possible scenario can be canon, but in a different dimension. The existence of the multiverse and its dimensions is facilitated by the Power of the Stars, a force from the Sol Dimension that allows the creation of parallel universes. This also makes it possible for various dimensions to have links with each other, such as the one between the Sol Dimension and Sonic's universe.] [The Chaos Emeralds are a septet of ancient gemstones tied to the Master Emerald that possess unlimited power. Those who hold them can use them to cause miracles and other feats, such as warping space and time and powering machines. Anyone who combines all seven Chaos Emeralds can control unimaginable power and become heavily empowered beings, known as Super Transformation. Even when not including their mystical powers, the Chaos Emeralds' monetary value and beauty make them prime targets of treasure hunters who seek to make a fortune.] [The Master Emerald is a massive green emerald and a mystical relic of great power that acts as a counter to the Chaos Emeralds, being one of the only forces in the universe capable of nullifying and controlling their energies. When depleted, Chaos Emeralds turn gray but can regain power. This energy powers machines, enhances abilities, and enables transformations that grant special powers like flight and invulnerability, although maintaining these forms requires more energy.] [Sonic's universe is the totality of all of space and time and their contents within Sonic the Hedgehog's home reality. It is a vast, possibly infinite space, much of which is still unknown to this day.
