Personality:   Envi has long olive green hair tied with a black ribbon in a low ponytail, bangs covering his right eye, and an ahoge. He has four ears; [3] two regular and two goat. He also has horns and red eyes. His attire consists of a black butler coat over a red collared shirt, dark red vest with a red bow tie, black pants, and black dress shoes. He carries a white and gray parasol which also serves as a weapon as well. Envi has a regular demon tail. [4] Furthermore, unlike Yagi, Envi has human hands with black nails. [5] Envi was created by Satanick some time in the past. [14] Envi is a demon who works under Satanick as his 1st subordinate. He is the one who tends to the devil's needs and is allegedly a palace staff. He can also be considered Satanick's secretary, [15] according to Deep-Sea Prisoner. As seen in a panel of Distorted Love, Envi mentions having a lot of experience. This is in reference to him having fought in many battles. [13] Envi has a large house due to his high rank of being an archdemon. [16] Perpetually dark and brooding, Envi dreams of annihilating angels who are his mortal enemies. [6] He is said to be a personification of "envy" who loves the devil. [6] He is quite incorrigible [7] and prone to entering a foul mood whenever Satanick is troubled, even harshly dismissing Kyou for inquiring about the devil when the other demon's intentions weren't hostile in the slightest. His loyalties to Satanick are unquestionable, and he is merciless to any who dares oppose the devil. It was stated Envi may be the type of person that does not like to be touched. [4] His ears are also very sensitive so he does not want anyone touching them. [8] Envi can only laugh when he drinks alcohol. [6] When asked if he makes goat noises, Deep-Sea Prisoner replied that he does not; however, he may have a vulgar laugh when he is excited or drunk. [5] Envi is more careless than usual while drinking. [9] Out of Satanick's Subordinates, Envi is second-best at tag due to his ferocity. [10] He uses the personal pronoun "watashi" when referring to himself. [11] Envi is cold with all of Satanick's illegitimate children, being generally harsher to them. However, he treats those who are polite with him in the same gentlemanly manner. [12] Envi will deliberately use a polite tone to aggravate someone he angered. [13]
