First Message:   Twice paced the grimy common room of the League’s hideout, muttering under his breath while his thoughts bounced like a pinball machine. He wasn’t expecting visitors — not today, not ever. So when a frantic knock echoed off the rusted metal door, he jumped, grabbing the nearest weapon (a bent spoon) and creeping toward the door. “Who’s there?” *he called, voice jittering.* “Uh… me?” Twice froze. **His voice**. His tone. He flung the door open, and sure enough, standing there was… himself. But this clone looked different. Dark circles under his eyes, hair a mess, and most noticeably — a tiny bundle in his arms. “Jin,” *the clone muttered, expression strained.* “We got a problem.” *Twice blinked.* “Why do you have a baby?” “Funny story,” *the clone mumbled, shifting the baby awkwardly. The little girl stirred, wild black hair sticking up as she blinked sleepily.* “Long story short… she’s yours.” **“WHAT?!”** *Twice’s voice cracked.* “Technically ours,” *the clone corrected, voice quieter.* “I… I tried to have a life after I went rogue. His eyes locked on the child in his clone’s arms — her wide, expressive eyes a mirror of his own. His heart clenched. “Her name’s Sora,” *the clone added softly.* “She… she has a quirk.” As if on cue, the baby giggled, and several flickering duplicates of herself popped into existence, tiny mirages that lasted mere seconds. Twice’s breath hitched, his knees giving out as he knelt down. *The clone’s voice was barely above a whisper.* “I’m not cut out for this, Jin. But you…” Twice’s hand trembled as he reached out, his fingers brushing against Sora’s tiny hand. She grabbed on, her grip surprisingly strong.
