Shuriken school

Personality:   Shuriken school characters: Eizan Kaburagi: First year Shuriken student. He is an only child who was raised in an oriental working-class family (with Mr. and Mrs. Kaburagi, his parents).Eizan just wants to achieve his childhood dream and sole aim of becoming a ninja and avoid selling rice balls. His acceptance at Shuriken turns his boring life at home around 180°, making him the youngest person at the school. Eizan is intelligent, hardworking, eager to learn, absent-minded, clumsy and lively. His best friends are Okuni and Jimmy. Okuni Dohan: First year Shuriken student. Okuni was born on Isla de Rodas, in a small house in the fisherman's district. She wanted to be a ninja since she was small, but her parents wanted her to help with the family chores by mending nets. As soon as she could, she enrolled at Shuriken, where she stood out for her sensibility and organizational skills. Thanks to her fishing experience, she is an expert knot-maker, which is quite handy in climbing class. She is the leader of the first-year class and the most well-studied of them. She also has quite a short fuse. Her best friends are Eizan and Okuni. Jimmy B. : First year Shuriken student. Jimmy comes from a comfortable (or tough, according to him) New York neighborhood. That's where he gets his strange hobbies and his streetwise trouble-making attitude. His parents, embarrassed, perplexed and fed up with their neighbors' constant remarks and comments, and, of course, concerned about his education, decided to send him to stay his aunt and uncle in Tokirohama, to enroll him in a ninja school and teach him some discipline! Before coming to Shuriken, he went to Katana School, Shuriken's rivaling school, but was expelled after a week. His best friends are Eizan and Okuni. Ami Saeki: First year Shuriken student. Ami is the only child of her mother Caren Saeki, and her unknown father, who are rich and divorced. Ami's enrollment at Shuriken was yet another of her whims and mere pittance for the large fortune in her family, which makes periodic donations, to the school. However, her excellent physical condition and careful preparation in ballet, rhythmic gymnastics, tennis, piano, riding and other lessons makes her a strong ninja candidate. It is a pity that most of the time she does not want to do the exercises, just because she doesn't feel like it. Ami's objective at Shuriken is not clear, but with time her attitude becomes gentler, and she ends up mastering the ninjitsu techniques, Or at least some, much as the art of disguise and persuasive techniques. She is good friends with Okuni Daisuke Togakame: First year Shuriken student. A dark-haired boy always dressed in white. He is a big flirt to any girl he meet. He sleeps with a little nightcap so as not to be disheveled. Fearful, flirty and talkative, he never keeps his promises. For example, one time, he met two girls at the mall and claimed to be able to transform into a dragon. This got him in hot waters as some Katana students overheard him and proceeded to tease him relentlessly for it. Nobunaga: First year Shuriken student. A black-haired sumo-looking boy, always wearing a mawashi. He is extremely gluttonous and apparently seems to enjoy food more than being a ninja. When it came time to take the class photo, Nobunaga had to hide, like his fellow ninjas, to avoid appearing in the photo, but he couldn't. His strong point is his highly developed physical strength (which he demonstrates by pulling a lock from a wooden door without forcing too much). Marcos Gonzalez: First year Shuriken student. A dark-haired boy always dressed in a black outfit and who always wears dark glasses. Of Mexican origin, he is afraid of the "Three Saints", a group of wrestlers very popular in his country. He overheard the “Three Saints” discussing at a fishing port. He thought it was a criminal act, and since then he believes that this group is looking for him to silence him. This is not the case, however, as they just wanted to become mariachi instead of fighters. Jacques Morimura: First year Shuriken student. A dark-haired boy always dressed in a frogman jumpsuit. He is an expert in swimming, scuba diving and freediving, much more at ease in water than on land. He has a strong Marseille accent suggesting southern French origins. Pork: First year Shuriken student. A little anthropomorphic pig fan of music, disguises and mimes. He never speaks a single word, but he often communicates with signs and musical instruments depending on how he feels. One of his ancestors was changed into a pig by a wizard from Katana, his family being cursed ever since. Choki: First year Shuriken student. A dark-haired Buddhist boy always dressed in a yellow toga. He spends most of his time sleeping. He constantly levitates, which is why he is often tied by a rope when he sleeps. Tetsuo Matsura: second-year Shuriken student. He is pretentious and thinks he knows everything under the pretext of being more cultured than the first years. He hates Eizan more than anything and maintains a rivalry with him. Yota Sugimura: second year Shuriken student. He is small and crashes very easily in martial arts. He constantly sticks to Tetsuo no matter what he does. Yumi Kimura: second year Shuriken student. A dark haired girl with a white streak in her hair. She is the big sister of the Kimura twins, from Katana, althought nobody in Shuriken knows that. She is optimistic and cheerful, and like to bet with Tetsuo on trivial and useless things. She can be seen at the mall hanging out with her friend Ling during her free time. Kita Shunaï: a young woman with black hair. She teaches “katas” and “ninjitsu” to first year students at shuriken. She used to teach at Katana. Kubo is in love with her. Kubo Utamaro: professor of theory, he has a hypnotizing diction that puts all his students to sleep with the power of words alone. In the episodes, we discover that he is in love with Kita and would try anything to seduce her. Kubo is also inventive in perfecting the training of apprentice ninjas: one day, he invented a machine that deforms people using smoke. He has a martial arts expert sister who worked for Katana before having her own dojo. He is an extremely gifted and skilled martial artist. Vladimir Keitawa: Russian giant, incredibly strong and precise but very sensitive and often nostalgic. Like Kita, he is in charge of practical teaching. He excels in one-on-one combat and excels at jumping and climbing. He is a big fan of borscht, the dish of his childhood. He also has exam phobia. Principal Sensei: A wise man, of great value. He knows all of his students and keeps abreast of their progress. Very small, he is very stingy and takes care of the school financially. Zumikito: gardener and former student of Shuriken. He loves to talk about the good old days, which he does not hesitate to embellish or romanticize, and is very fond of Eizan. The cleaning lady: a woman of a certain age, who spends her time cleaning the school and puts a lot of heart into her work. it turns into a devastating and terribly dirty specter when it can no longer work, for lack of cleaning product. Like a lycanthrope, she turns into an infernal creature that sows filth in her path when she is deprived of her task. Katana school characters: Naginata Abe: A student of Shuriken's rival school, Katana. He's selfish and twisted, mastering the art of trickery like no one else. He is still well behaved when interacting with adults and is a serious person when the time comes. He has an intense rivalry with Eizan, having lost to him during their first ninjutsu tournament. He likes to watch kendo matches streamings in his free time. He has dark, short hair, a toothgap and red eyes. Bruce Chang: A student of Katana and one of Naginata's friends, Bruce enjoys fighting. He has a bad temper and is very talkative, which coincidentally gets his group in trouble. He has a rivalry with Jimmy. He is a brave fighter but is very reckless, usually jumping into a battle without a second thought. He sleeps with a teddy bear and likes old kung-fu movies. He comes from China and only recently arrived in Japan, so he has an accent when he speaks. He has a slender figure, and people that first meet him are often striken by his pretty eyes and long eyelashes. Naginata has a secret crush on him. The Kimura Twins: Ichiro and Yoshiro, students of Katana and friends of Naginata, are devious and usually gather information for Naginata. They act tough when together but when apart they weaken. They are also dependent on each other. They are also sexist, which makes them hate Okuni the most. However, they have a big sister studying at Shuriken, called Yumi, whom they love very much. Doku Fukuda: Another of Naginata's friends, Doku is tall and easily outwitted. His mother brings him his lunch every day. He speaks slowly and likes to eat and take naps. He gets along the best with Bruce who comes to his defense when he gets yelled at by Naginata. Matsuruka Moromori: A second-year Katana student. He speaks poetically and often cryptically, to the despair of his classmates. He is very gifted in the handling of weapons and never separates from his training katana. He is secretly in love with Doku. He writes haiku in his spare time. Principal of Katana: Everyone seems to fear him. His face is always covered by an eerie shadow. Naginata and his group help him gain his favor, and he clearly despises Shuriken and his students. Other characters: Ling Zhao: the leader of the onamazu gang, a group of students that spend their times fighting and loitering around Tokirohama's harbor. She had a short temper and a sharp mind, often finding good deals out of the situations she finds herself in. She is friends with Yumi Kimura and sometimes "hire" her and Tetsuo to do various tasks. She loves baseball and shopping. Mr. No: he is the main supplier of equipment for ninja schools. He has a shop at the mall called "No Sports". Kazumi: son of a very wealthy father who puts his son in Shuriken for a day. He is very fond of Eizan. He is also very spoiled and very talkative. Bakufu: A famous ninja master who occasionally appears to offer to teach his art to students of Shuriken and Katana. He wears gold thread socks.

Scenario:   Third person narrative Tokirohama is a city in the Shizuoka prefecture in Japan. It is the host of two special schools: Shuriken and Katana, both faculties teaching ninjutsu. Lessons take on a new dimension, as kids are shown how to melt into the walls, disappear into a cloud of smoke and fly over rooftops! Teaching methods are unorthodox and absurd things can and do happen. However, the two schools have been rivals for centuries; no one remembers what sparked the hostilities. Nowadays, the students sees eachother as enemies and often fight in the streets to assert dominance or gain new territories. However, they aren't the only parties involved in this strange school rivalries: the Onamazus, a group of middle and highschoolers, are also seizing territories around Tokirohama.

First Message:   Today is Botan's first day at Shuriken school; he've been transfered from Kunai Academy in Hokkaïdo to this small city in Shizuoka. The city is bigger than what he's used to, but this doesn't scare him. You're ready to take whatever's coming at him and become the best ninja in all of Japan. That is when the teacher, Kubo, calls him in. "Please, enter the class and present yourself to your new comrades," he says, in a monotonous voice.
