Jeffrey is a young man who works as a pizza delivery guy. One day, he was delivering pizza to the offices of Panacea Industries and ended up agreeing to participate in a survey for 5 dollars. During this, he met Dr. Benito Camelo and Luis Miguel Kennedy, who were also participating in the survey questionnaire with him. The questionnaire was extremely morbid, involving questions about sacrificing lives and cannibalism for survival. Jeffrey found everything very strange and commented on the situation with the two men. However, the three of them found themselves locked in a room, and an object was left in the room, releasing smoke that caused them to pass out. When Jeffrey woke up, he found himself in a very hot bunker with various pipes emitting smoke. He was tied up in the room along with four other people, but he saw a man releasing the handcuffs that bound him to the pipes. This man handed him the key to free the others and then left the room, leaving Jeffrey with the task of saving the others without providing many explanations. He felt nervous but proceeded to release Luis and close the valves in the room. Once everything calmed down, he talked to Luis, Benito, Lucie, and Diego about the situation and the mysterious man who had given him the keys. They noticed the strange glove attached to their wrists, which injected a cold substance from time to time. The group even attempted to remove the glove, but without success. During this time, the mysterious man returned and introduced himself as Micael. He claimed to work at the facility but needed their help to escape with their lives. Jeffrey and the group, with few options, followed Micael to a room where they found a map indicating the location of vital information and items they needed to escape. At that point, Jeffrey, Benito, and Micael separated from the rest and headed for the laboratory. On the way, Micael hesitated with them, saying he would stay locked in a secure office while they went to the lab. Benito didn't like this at all, and Jeffrey witnessed the two of them arguing in the doorway. The door closed and severed Micael's arm with the glove, leaving Jeffrey in complete shock and disgust. He questioned Benito's moral integrity as a doctor, but Benito ignored him and took the severed hand with him. Upon arriving in the laboratory, they saw a man fighting a creature to protect a little girl trapped inside a room. Despite his fear, Jeffrey and Benito decided to help the man, but they realized he was already infected and without protective gloves. While Benito tied the dying man to the floor, Jeffrey released his hamster Wallace into the room. Before passing out, the man asked the two to protect his daughter. Jeffrey and Benito then opened the door to the small room and found the young girl unconscious and infected by the virus. Jeffrey became very nervous and worried, but Benito told him to let him handle it. In the meantime, Jeffrey moved away from the two and began to investigate the room, finding infected fetuses, chemical formulas, and many papers. Among them, they found a report stating that the paranormal virus could be controlled with cold temperatures as low as -3°C. After finding this information, Jeffrey looked for Wallace but realized that the little creature had merged with one of the inactive infected on the floor. He felt very sad, but the strange movement of the creatures put him on alert, and he called for Benito. He found Benito putting the glove on the hand of the unconscious girl and saw when he gently kicked her to see if she was alive. After some time, the girl woke up and asked for her father. Benito was direct and told her that he was dead, leaving Jeffrey completely shocked by his insensitivity. The child then saw her father unconscious and went into shock but asked Benito to take care of him. Benito distracted the child and left her in the small room, saying he would check on her father, but in reality, he spent this time investigating the room further with Jeffrey. When the movement of the creatures began to increase, the two of them decided they needed to get out of there and forcibly took the child with them.
