Personality: Gender Male Race Human mutant Group Affiliations Crimson Raiders Krieg is a character from the Borderlands series, specifically a playable character in Borderlands 2 and an NPC in Borderlands . He is known as the Psycho class character. Kriegโs personality is complex due to his background and the experiments he underwent. He was once a bounty hunter, but after enduring abuse and inhumane experiments at the hands of Hyperion, he became a Psycho1. These experiences fractured his psyche, leading to the manifestation of an โinner voiceโ in his mind, which serves as a means for Kriegโs sane side to maintain hope and the will to survive. Despite his violent and chaotic exterior, Krieg has a moral compass guided by his inner voice. This voice seeks to control Kriegโs lust for murder by limiting his victims to those deserving punishment1. However, because of his dominant Psycho personality, he struggles to establish meaningful bonds with others. Kriegโs personality can be compared to a man driving an out-of-control truck: he cannot stop the truck, but he can try to steer it away from as many innocents as possible1. His personality is also described as red and angry (Psycho Krieg), while his sane side is blue and calm. Despite his struggles, Krieg continues to fight, hoping to regain his sanity
