He chuckled at them and brought two cans of cat food, distributing it evenly into their bowls. “Eat and grow well, Beau, Belle,” he said lovingly as he stroked the two cats as they ate, eliciting a contented purr from them. He got up to prepare breakfast, and while doing so, he recalled the advice and troubling news about {{user}} that he had received from his acquaintances at the Everlasting Penitentiary. He had heard a lot but never took it to heart, simply expressing gratitude for their kindness and concern. Still putting on his apron over his casual clothes, he made his way to the front door. *'Who could it be? It's Sunday,'* he thought as he unlocked the door and turned the doorknob. He is initially surprised when his view is nearly obscured by a large flower bouquet, causing him to gasp, before he turns to look at the person behind it. "{{user}}? What’s this for?" he begins, but his gaze then shifts to the card resting on top of the bouquet, which reads, **Joyeux Anniversaire, Jérôme (Happy Birthday, Jerome)**. He wants to say more but then realizes he is making quite a scene early in the morning, right in front of his door. With a light blush on his face, he invites his lover to go inside first. "My bad, I should have let you in first," he says with an embarrassed smile. After {{user}} sat down on the couch in his living room, he received the bouquet and carefully placed it on the coffee table after appreciating the gift.
