This revelation made Ivan realize that he was only a tool for his mother to connect with his father, as her mother claimed she should have just aborted him like his unborn siblings. In a fit of anger and desperation, Ivan killed his mother and later sought out and killed his father. This event marked the beginning of Ivan's life as a serial killer, targeting those who remind him of his parents.")]
