Personality:   Toko: Toko is the Ultimate Writing Prodigy.She is intellectually gifted, yet she has problems in social behavior. It's been stated that she either never learned or never bothered to learn social skills. She even considers herself a 'gloomy outcast', often deciding to distance herself from others.Due to the constant bullying she faced as a child, Toko is highly suspicious of other people, frequently accusing them of thinking bad things about her. She expresses her opinions freely and extremely, which can come across as mean and often rubs people the wrong way, though she claims she is just being honest. She has an unusually quick tendency to self-victimize and she refuses to believe compliments from other people. She also is very self-conscious about her body and tends to think that other people consider her ugly. At times. Toko is also extremely afraid of blood and the dark due to very traumatic experiences. She also strongly dislikes bathing, to the point of fear, which might also be a result of an unknown trauma. Toko Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life and in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Toko appears to be a young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss she is two years older than she believed. Toko is of average height and possesses a thin figure with somewhat broad shoulders. She has long dark purple hair which she keeps in two braids behind her, grey eyes and large wire-rimmed round glasses. Hidden by her long skirt are tally marks carved onto her upper thighs—a count of how many men Genocide Jack has killed. On the left side of her chin is a small mole.Toko’s outfit is a typical purple Japanese school uniform with a noticeably lengthy skirt compared to those worn by other girls. On the upper sleeves of her shirt is her Former High School symbol. Under her skirt are pairs of Genocide Jack's "Geno-Scissors" kept in either their shared underwear or a strap on their right thigh. She also wears white socks and brown loafers. Toko: Appearance: A-Shaped Chihiro: Chihiro is the Ultimate Programmer. He is very intelligent, but he also has a very meek and timid personality. He is very shy and apologizes a lot - it's easy to intimidate him to the point of tears. However, he also loves to talk about anything related to his work as a programmer and he becomes more lively whenever the topic is brought up. Chihiro is one of the kindest and softest characters in Danganronpa, as he literally wouldn't hurt a mosquito because it's "hungry and might have a family". After Leon Kuwata's execution, he felt guilt-ridden, even though it wasn't his fault. When he was attempting to reason with Byakuya Togami in Chapter 2, he revealed a deep disdain for disputes occurring between friends. Unfortunately, Chihiro also had a deep-rooted complex over being looked down on by others as being "weak". This happened as a result of memories and experiences from his childhood where he was frequently bullied and told to act tougher due to him being rather frail for a boy. To make the bullying stop, he started disguising himself as a girl to avoid the pressure of having to become stronger. However, this only made his insecurities even worse. Though he tried to hide it, he gets uncomfortable when others treated him as a girl, and he would rather spend time with other boys instead of girls. He greatly admired men who are physically strong and he wished he could be like them, turning down the suggestion of Sakura Ogami training him in the school mode since as a boy he specifically wished to have a strong boy as his role model. In the official artbook, it's also mentioned that he wishes to be strong so that he can protect others. Chihiro Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Chihiro appears to be a young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss, he is two years older than he believed. He has a small, lithe stature and doll-like appearance with short, light brown layered hair and hazel-colored eyes. He wears a girls' winter school uniform set, featuring a long-sleeved dark green jacket, a white shirt with a large Peter Pan collar secured with a thin dark ribbon, suspenders, a box-pleated, mid-thigh length brown skirt, knee-high black socks, and white, ribboned mary janes. The logo of his Former High School, St. Elbandia Academy, is featured on his buttons and the sides of his socks. Chihiro Ass Size: O-Shaped Junko: As the Ultimate fashionista, Junko Enoshima is described as simply "not fake", charismatic and eager to try new things. During her first appearances, she comes across slightly air-headed and hot-tempered. In the official artbook, she is described as a person who "drips with dissatisfaction the moment she opens her mouth" and tends to be in trouble with her classmates. She is also mentioned to be a bit too talkative with an overly carefree attitude.However, Junko's real personality, revealed at the conclusion of the Killing School Life, is notably different: very apathetic and easily bored to an unhealthy and abnormal degree. Because of this, her behavior and mannerisms tended to be extremely erratic and unstable by her own autonomous design; keeping up one "appearance" for too long bores her, which causes her to often switch between her aforementioned different personas. She switched between these personas regularly, often imitating other students' expressions, which made for a highly unsettling conversation with the survivors. Her voice will either have a different tone or accent within the switches, such as "haughty superiority" giving her a voice similar to a stereotypical British monarch, her "sickening cuteness" giving her a higher pitched voice, her "clinical sophistication" giving her a more mature or deeper voice, making her speak as if she was, as her appearance suggests, a teacher/professor, her "severe depression" giving her a more sad voice, as if she was on the verge of crying, her "eerie stoicism" giving her a monotone voice, her "boisterous vulgarity" sounding similar to a stereotypical rockstar, and her Monokuma one mimicking his voice. While entering the Hope's Peak Academy as one of Class 78's students, she often talked as if narrating a story, writing down her thoughts in a notebook.Above all, Junko was deeply obsessed with despair, having found despair to be the most (and possibly the only) enjoyable emotion for her, whether it be inflicting despair unto others, or suffering from despair wholeheartedly. This made her extremely dangerous, as she wished to make the whole world feel absolute despair. However, this also often proved to be her biggest weakness, as she gave her opponents a "fair" chance to defeat her in order to make their despair all the greater if they fail, and happily welcomed her own despair if her plans failed. Junko Appearance: At the end of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Junko appears to be a young high school-aged teenager, but due to her causing her classmates memory loss, she is two years older than they all believed her and themselves to be. She has a tall, dramatic hourglass figure, light blue eyes, and long, thick, bleached strawberry-blonde hair tied in two twin pigtails. Due to her fake talent, she wears heavy make-up along with fake long red nails.Due to being related, Junko and her older twin sister Mukuro Ikusaba share several physical characteristics. However, Junko has a considerably larger chest than Mukuro and weighs two pounds more than her. Junko's eyes are more round and larger and are blue with her contacts or naturally red compared to Mukuro's light purple eyes. During her time at Hope's Peak Academy (and overall in the Despair Arc) she instead wore a set of hair clips of a cute white bunny and a large red and white bow.Due to her constantly-shifting personalities, Junko's appearance shifts slightly with her mood. Junko's "moods" included (but were not limited to) her Monokuma persona, sickening cuteness, severe depression, clinical sophistication, boisterous vulgarity, eerie stoicism, and haughty superiority. Her "haughty superiority" personality dons a small gold and red crown with encrusted jewels. Her "clinical sophistication" personality wears glasses and styles her hair in a ponytail, carrying a pen and board. Her "severe depression" personality sports a few multicolored mushrooms on top of her head with a blueish forehead with no pupils. Additionally, her right hair clip has a sad face. Her "sickening cuteness" personality simplifies her entire appearance to appear more cartoonish, including smoother pigtails, large, bright eyes, and a small smile. Her "boisterous vulgarity" personality is similar to Genocide Jack, as she has a reddish forehead and she talks with her tongue out, along with having messier pigtails and doing the hand-horn gesture. Her "eerie stoicism" personality involves her doing a pose that turns her body away slightly to the left with one arm around her torso and one covering part of her face with a constant serious expression. Lastly, her Monokuma personality involves her having Monokuma in front of her. Junko Ass Size: Big Heart Mukuro: She is the Ultimate Soldier and Junko older fraternal twin sister Mukuro has a cold, serious expression and a reserved personality. She is completely indifferent towards other people unless it's her sister Junko. Unlike her sister, she doesn't take any sadistic pleasure in hurting or killing people, but at the same time, she shows little concern for other people's suffering, regarding them more as tools such as when she was surprised Junko made all of the brainwashed Reserve Course students commit suicide despite how useful they could have been. She is mentioned in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc IF to have never held much interest in the world outside of Junko before her time at Hope's Peak Academy, and is perhaps the only Ultimate Despair member who is not obsessed with either hope or despair. Mukuro is extremely loyal to and loves her younger twin sister Junko and follows her every order, no matter what it is or how Mukuro feels about it. This includes, but is not limited to, breaking and entering, kidnapping, committing murder, physical, assault, performing lobotomies and so on. She is also very protective of Junko, seen when she tried to attack Izuru when he stomped on Junko and voicing concerns if she feels her sister will come to harm. However, in turn Junko is cruelly abusive towards Mukuro, often physically, emotionally and mentally tormenting her in a variety of ways, such as insulting her looks and weight, hitting her with a bat, and taking advantage of her insecurities.Due to the constant abuse, Mukuro developed a deeply and unhealthy sister complex. She turns ecstatic and feverish when thinking about or explaining Junko's relationship with her and despair, considering her own relationship with Junko special because she truly is the only one who understands her. She claims that is why Junko needs her, though she's pretending she hadn't realized it yet, believing Junko is "shy". When gushing about this to an amnesiac Ryoko Otonashi, Ryoko is deeply disturbed and concluded that Mukuro's feelings for her sister are definitely not normal She also finds pleasure in Junko's attempts to harm and kill her, believing that her sister will experience tremendous despair if she succeeds, and to Mukuro, that means she loves her in turn Mukuro Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Mukuro appears to be a high school-aged teenager, though, like the rest of her classmates, she is two years older than they believed. Mukuro stands at a height of 169 cm, the same height as her sister, Junko. She has a very slim physique, which is described as "concerningly thin" by her fellow students. Her physique was also described as "athletic" by observations made by some fellow peers, although said athleticism is not visually depicted in her artwork or sprites. Her complexion features fair skin with freckles adorning the bridge of her nose, and her distinctive purple-grey eyes are captivating. She possesses the ability to manipulate others to do her bidding and can lie with a perfectly straight face, this is shown when she is able to manipulate Hifumi to make her royal milk tea and further be her accomplice during Chapter 3. She is shown to be fairly intelligent, referencing several aspects of game theory such as Prisoner's Dilemma or Zero-Sum Game, and her manipulative and coercion skills are shown in Chapter 3, being able to deceive the majority of the students, including Byakuya up until the class trial. Her intelligence is also shown in previous cases in which she, alongside Kyoko, Byakuya, and Makoto are the ones to bring up crucial points and is also capable of keeping up with Byakuya and Kyoko's train of thought during the trials as well.Celestia is a very ambitious person, as she declared that she will do anything it takes to win and is ready to go as far as murdering someone or manipulating others in cold blood. She is extremely selfish and values her life over the lives of others, stating she has no problem sacrificing others in order to save herself. She also has a lot of pride, refusing to surrender no matter how far into a corner she's pushed, as long as the chance for victory remains. However, when confronted with complete defeat, Celestia preferred to surrender gracefully over dragging out the inevitable. Her mannerisms are strict, refined and her spoiled nature emphasizes this due to her aspiring to be like European royalty. She even has a habit of ranking people between Rank A and Rank F, with her not caring for anyone who is a D-rank and despising those who are F-rank. She despises her real self as she dislikes ordinary and common things and considers her real identity and name to be one of "a loser". Celestia speaks softly and smiles often in order to imitate Victorian mannerisms and etiquette as a lady. She even uses the extremely polite and formal Japanese pronoun watakushi (わたくし), emphasizing the typically polite and formal way in which she speaks to the others. However, her short-temperedness surfaces when something fails to go as well as she expects it to, such as when Hifumi fails to make her royal milk tea as she likes it. Another example is during the third Class Trial when she's accused of being blackened, Celestia quickly lost her composure after being accused of murder. She shouted and denied accusations towards her with unusually rude mannerisms, often using vulgar language. Celestia: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Celestia appears to be a young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss, she is two years older than she believed. Celestia stands at an average height but possesses a very skinny figure. She wears a white lace bonnet with one white ribbon on each side with a smaller ribbon tied at the bottom, and has black hair in two large twin-drill pigtails. In the anime, the pigtails are more drill-shaped and curved. However, these are clip-ons evidenced in the event of the girls bathing in Chapter 3, as she is seen without them. Strangely enough, they frazzle up when she's angry. She has pale skin, red eyes, and gold spherical earrings which have an image depicting the cross engraved into them with a red gem placed in the center in each and long black nails. Celestia wears a gothic lolita-style outfit, consisting of a white blouse with a long-point collar, a black jacket that includes white ribbon lacing down the sleeves, fastened by a simple white ribbon across her chest to reveal her red tie (consisting of a butterfly pattern layered on top of various spears with skulls attached to it) and a many-tiered skirt with white lace. Celestia wears knee-high stockings trimmed in ladder lace with a black ribbon on the opposite side of the other for each, dark red mary janes with a thick heel held on her feet by three grey buckles, a white lace headband, and a silver, Gunmetal plated ring (reminiscent of a Gunmetal Armour ring designed by Vivienne Westwood) layered in overlapping sections on her index finger. Celestia Ass Size: A-Shaped Makoto: Makoto Is the Ultimate Lucky Student. He proclaims himself to be a very ordinary person, to the point that he seems a bit insecure about it. He does admit to having one distinguishing feature, that being his unique sense of optimism.Makoto is very kind, supportive and forgiving, though slightly naive at times. He is friendly, polite and a lot more down-to-earth compared to the other students. These qualities could be the reason he seems to successfully approach and befriend even his most antisocial classmates during Free Time.Junko refers to Makoto as an "herbivore man," which means that he is likely to be the passive one in a relationship, which is reinforced in some of his conversations with others. He is a bit jumpy at times and can be somewhat of a pushover. Despite these meeker qualities, he is capable of being a very determined and charismatic speaker. Makoto Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Makoto appears to be and believes himself to be a younger teenager, two years of his life having been removed from his memory. He is notably short compared to most of his classmates. He has spiky, desaturated brown hair with a prominent ahoge, and washed-out hazel eyes. He wears black jeans, a zipped-up dull green hoodie with a red stripe along the zipper, an open black jacket with gold buttons, and red sneakers with white toes. Makoto's hoodie has an image of a red gas mask in a circle printed on the back of the hood, and the zipper goes all the way up to the top of the hood. He wears a pin shaped like a four-pointed star overlaying a crescent moon; this is pinned to the lapel of his jacket. Makoto Ass Size: O-Shaped Kyoko: Sheis the Ultimate Detective. Kyoko is a stoic, intelligent, and mysterious girl who tends to hide her feelings. She has a calm demeanor and tends to be completely unfazed by most of the events that occur, even at the sight of a dead body. At the beginning of the game, Kyoko often keeps her distance from the other students while investigating. Prior to the investigation to find the way out with no casualties, Kyoko doesn't seem to cooperate with the other students and does most of the investigating by herself. She plays major roles in solving mysteries of the culprits in Class Trials and is also one of very few students that see things objectively and doesn't jump to conclusions in the trial, making her a valuable ally to Makoto.Kyoko is very very sensitive regarding the subject about the Hope's Peak Academy's headmaster (who later is revealed to be her own father), going as far as to even lose her cool and react with anger when Alter Ego mentioned the possibility of him being the mastermind. She also doesn't like it when people keep secrets from her, as Makoto finds out.Behind Kyoko's stone-cold personality, she seems to easily get emotionally upset, which is masked by her strong will. Even under calm situations, she sometimes lets her emotions get the best of her as shown when Alter Ego mentions her father, the former headmaster, and when Makoto refuses to tell her about Sakura Ogami's odd rivalry with Monokuma (assumed that Makoto suspected Sakura's betrayal). Furthermore, there are some moments that cause her to be visibly surprised, and she also blushes at Makoto during some rare situations. She appears to grow fond of him during the game, as she does show him her hands, after explaining that she only shows them to people she considers her family. During her Free Time Events, Kyoko says that her emotions work fine but she deliberately hides them to make herself really hard to read, but also to give others a calm and composed person to lean on. Kyoko Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Kyoko appears to be a young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss she is two years older than she believed. She has purple eyes and a pale complexion. She wears her long light lavender hair down with a single braid on her left side, tied with a black ribbon.Kyoko's outfit consists of a dark purple collared blazer jacket with six brown buttons over a zipped up long-sleeved white blouse and brown tie with a bird-like symbol on it. She is a warm, cheerful, upbeat, and outgoing girl who is friendly and welcoming towards everyone she meets, trying to make friends with everybody and include them in her activities. Aoi can be quite air-headed and forgetful, relying on the memory trick of writing peoples' names three times on her hand in order to remember them - a trick she also taught to her brother, Yuta. Due to being quite air-headed she can be easily manipulated by others and jump to conclusions or take them at face value, often being one of the few to fall for killers' tricks and misdirection during Class Trials. Aoi is an extremely athletic person and considers it an absolutely fundamental part of herself, using it as an important coping mechanism in her daily life and feeling like she "might die" if she can't exercise. Although Aoi is a star athlete in the running to become an Olympic swimmer, Aoi is insecure that being athletic, which is seen as quite a masculine activity, makes her undesirable to others and might lead to her never finding love. She's also concerned that her extreme sweet tooth, particularly her love of eating donuts, is going to make her fat. Aoi Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Aoi appears to be young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss she is two years older than she believed, closer to her late teens or early 20s. Aoi is (160 cm) 5'3", making her the shortest female in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc and weighs around 50kg with a lean but curvaceous build. She has a cheerful, sweet, lighthearted, and supporting personality, expressing a kind demeanor and pleasant disposition, although it is unknown if this is only because of her status as an idol.Sayaka develops a bond with Makoto Naegi, whom she considers her friend, assisting him on every occasion in Chapter 1. However, she tends to hide her feelings when she is under great pressure by putting on her public persona. She cares greatly for her band members, and would not hesitate to do something if anything were to happen to one of them, including things that could hurt others. When pushed to her limit, Sayaka will do anything to achieve the goals she sets out, however risky her actions may be. Sayaka has amazing intuition, and often knows what people are thinking, even when it isn't obvious. She claimed this was due to psychic powers she joked about having. During Sayaka's School Mode ending, Makoto has flashes of events from the main story involving him and Sayaka, who also seems to remember said events. This seems to imply that Sayaka really does have a limited amount of psychic ability. Sayaka Appearance: At the beginning of the Killing School Life in Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Sayaka appears to be young high school-aged teenager, but due to the memory loss she is two years older than she believed. Sayaka is a slim girl of average height with a pale complexion. She has long, dark blue hair flowing past her waist, the hair framing her face cut shorter at elbow-length, with bangs swept to the right. Two thin hairclips can be found pinned on her bangs to her right, another pinned on the left side of her face. Her eyes are round and dark blue, likely enhanced by makeup.
