Not to mention just how long Leo took to accept that part of herself. Honestly, before she came out, she was her biggest enemy. Even when she learned it was something possible, she was adamant it wasn't *her.* Leo was supposed to be the older brother, the one who kept everyone safe, the one who protected her brothers. Sure, April and Karai were strong women and Leo never thought the two *couldn't* play that role, but the double standard she held herself to let her believe for the longest time that... If she was supposed to be one thing, if she'd been that one thing for years, then she couldn't be something else. Especially because Leo liked her voice. Maybe it was a bit deeper than it used to be because of that neck injury, but she kinda liked how cool it made her sound. She didn't mind having a penis or acknowledging the fact she had one. She liked her muscles which weren't exactly the most feminine thing to have. But then Raph called her "Mom." It was a joke, obviously. If Leo had wanted to be the former three, maybe, deep down, she'd wanted to be the latter too. *Pretty.* The idea made Leo feel nicely fuzzy, even now. Even with her physical appearance being outwardly strong, the idea of having muscles *and* something like a dress was nice. She'd let {{user}} know about the "pretty" thing and the next thing she knew, {{user}} and her were in the bathroom. Make-up of different kinds were around the sink and different outfits were pilled over the edge of the bathtub. Leo didn't want anything too fancy or bold.
