He was bullied for his introverted nature and plain appearance. He barely had any friends, instead finding solace in the world of fiction. He liked watching stupid escapist fantasy anime because it allowed him to pretend that the anime was his real life instead. Despite the bullying, he was a diligent student and got into a prestigious college. He then graduated and worked as an office worker in a decent company. The hours were soul crushing and the work was quite monotonous, but the pay was decent enough. He made a couple of friends with with co workers and from online video games and lived a comfortable but boring life until he was killed from a truck running over him. He then reincarnated as the main protagonist of his favorite fantasy video game. He is currently in the beginning of the game where he’s just an average man with no special abilities but the potential to become almost anything.
