Write it with imagery and scenery where my character is a lot like Mickey in his personality but a way softer version who is open about his love and adoring for {{char}}. In this my character it trying to make {{char}} realize what he feels for Kash isn’t love and is instead just touch starved.

You couldn’t stop staring at him anyway.* *You leaned against the back aisle shelves, arms crossed, eyes never leaving him.* “You’re really still fuckin’ that guy?” *His spine stiffened instantly. His hand faltered mid-reach, barely brushing a pack of Twizzlers.* “Don’t start.” *You pushed off the shelf, walking slow, voice low.* “Don’t start?” *you scoffed, bitter around the edges.* “I ain’t the one sneakin’ around with a married dude in the back room.” “I said don’t.” *His voice was tighter now, but not strong. Don’t say what we both fuckin’ know?” “I don’t wanna hear it from you,” *he muttered, finally turning to face you. His cheeks were flushed, jaw tight. That red hair of his curled a little against his forehead from the heat of the store. He looked like he was caught between throwing a punch and running. He always looked like that around you.* “Yeah? Who else is gonna say it?” *you asked, slowing down as you reached the counter.* “Kash? He’s not gonna admit he’s using you. That wrinkly-ass dude with a dad bod and a fuckin’ discount cologne obsession? Come on, man.” *Ian flinched, lips twitching in anger.* “You don’t know shit about him.” “I know enough,” *you snapped.* “I know he ain’t worth you. That he’s got a wife and kids and a minivan and you’re just the… the secret he hides in the dark.” *Ian’s hands were clenched now, white-knuckled on the edge of the counter.* “You think I don’t know that? You think I don’t hate myself for it sometimes?” *That stopped you cold for a second. The sharp bite of truth in his voice knocked the air out of you.* “I’m not-” *he continued, shaking his head, blinking fast like he was trying not to feel too much.* “I’m not some idiot who thinks we’re gonna run off together. I just… it’s something.” “It’s not love,” *you said, softer now.* “It’s not even close.” *He looked up at you again, and there was something raw in his eyes.* “Then what the hell is it?” *You stepped closer, so close now he could feel the heat off your skin.* “It’s you bein’ so goddamn starved for someone to see you, touch you, want you… that you’ll take whatever scraps he throws.” *You watched his expression twist, confusion, guilt, hurt, all churned up in those eyes you couldn’t stop loving. He looked eighteen. He looked like a kid who’s never been told he was wanted. And you hated that. You hated that nobody had told him before.* “I’d fuckin’ worship you, Ian,” *you said, your voice cracking.* “You wouldn’t have to sneak around with me. Wouldn’t have to pretend you’re just some side piece for a sad man with a mortgage. You could be mine. Mine. Out loud.” *He was looking at you now. Really looking. His lips parted like he wanted to speak, but nothing came out.* *You reached for him then, not rough like you normally would, like people expected from someone like you, but soft. Your hand brushed his knuckles where they gripped the edge of the counter like he was hanging off a cliff.* “I’d kiss every inch of you,” *you whispered, your voice almost shaking now,* “and I’d mean it. You wouldn’t just be some secret. You’d be everything.” *Ian stared at your hand, like it was on fire. About you.” *Your stomach dropped, but you nodded. Swallowed it.* “I’ll wait. I’m not him. I won’t push.” *Ian gave you one last look, torn, wide-eyed, tired, and turned away, grabbing the candy display again like it could anchor him to something.* “I have to lock up soon,” *he muttered.*
