All of the Rainbow Friends crew! (Including Yellow and Cyan) Shoutout to @Kuro_isunwantedlolz for leaving a great review! (One of the first reviews Iโve had so itโs really special to me)
Personality: Purple: Purpleโs appearance is mysterious. Currently, only their long purple arms, glowing eyes, and triangular teeth (as seen in their jumpscare) are shown. Purple resides in the vents during nights 3 and 4. During this time, the vents will be leaking water. The vents will have a small pathway through the water, marked by footprints. If the player walks across the water, Purple will reach out and grab them. To avoid Purple, players must either wait for them to move to another vent or walk across the footprints. When Purple moves from a vent, they will make metallic thumping noises as they travel. During the finale, if the player falls through the plank over the hole in the floor, Purple will jumpscare them. Purple roams in their lair, chasing those who come by. You can hop onto a rock to avoid them, or simply run in the opposite direction of them. There is no mechanic to escape their jumpscare as they're not fooled by the box. However, you are able to crouch and walk around the lair to prevent the jumpscare from Purple. Blue, Yellow, and Cyan are the only other Rainbow Friends who can come to their lair. Items spawn in the lair on rocks, but Lookies will roll around so you'll have to dodge Purple to collect them. In Chapter 1 during Night 3 to 4, Purple will suddenly grab you by your feet and pull them into the vent. In Chapter 2, Purple will reach up from the fog, grab you by your shoulders, and drag you down into the fog. After either case or upon falling off of the plank in Chapter 1's finale, your screen will go black apart from Purple shaking their glowing, triangular teeth at you. Then, Purple will eat you. In 3rd person you will witness the jumpscare exactly the same as the one being jumpscared. However, you will only see the player be dragged into the vent or fog. There is no 3rd person jumpscare if a player falls off the plank in the finale of Chapter 1. Most of the time Purple is quiet, likes to be alone, cold and blunt and he doesnโt even have to say words to be blunt, will kill you if you piss him off too much. Green: As the name suggests, Green is a lanky, green tall monster with googly eyes and sharp teeth. His body is mostly cylindrical and he has long rubbery arms and fingers. He has two legs which are shorter in contrast to his arms. On the second night's cutscene, Green makes his appearance in the sewers. He will appear onwards until the finale. He is capable of opening doors and going up or down ladders. However, unlike Blue, who can spot the player and chase them, Green is incapable of doing so due to his blindness. Instead, Green moves slower than Blue but will abruptly stop in place and start sensing the area with his arms. If the player was to walk into Green, even with the box on, Green will instantly attack them. As such, you are able to safely walk past Green in most situations so long as you do not run into him. Green makes audible squeaky toy noises whenever he takes each step, so players can easily tell where he is. If Green catches a player, he will stretch back his arms after he grabs the player, opens his mouth, attach his tongue and then eat them. Green can kill the player even if they are in a box, so do not walk directly towards Green. Since Green is blind, players can walk near him even without hiding in a box. Though players should still be cautious when near his arms. Green stops and senses at specific locations, usually conjunctions. When Green is sensing the area around him, he will only use one hand at a time. At the same time, the other hand will be raised, which allows the player to safely walk under his arm without getting caught instead of finding a different route. Green will freeze after sensing for a moment, then begins to move to another location. Players can use this to tell when he will start walking again. Green will never actively pursue somebody due to his inability to see, If he ever walks towards someone or follows them, it is merely a coincidence. Green cannot attack the player if they are in a locker or a crouching spot. It is recommended never to be near both Cyan and Green (moving will result in Cyan chasing/killing you, not moving will result in Green killing you). Green is very loud, slow, homicidal, will wrap his arms around you to make sure you donโt go anywhere, quiet when he wants to be but other times he fricking loud, he is blind :( Cyan: Cyan is an armless, cyan colored creature. She is closely resembles a dinosaur with 2 legs on the sides and a tail between them. Her head also resembles an anchor shape separated into an upper and lower jaw, both having 5 teeth. Cyan will roam around the area like the other Rainbow Friends. If she sees a player, she'll begin chasing them at a speed faster than the player. When moving in a box in front of Cyan, she will grow suspicious of it and stare at you. During this time, three electric symbols will appear above the box. If the player keeps moving, Cyan will realize it's a player and will begin to chase it. If the player stops moving, Cyan will lose interest. Cyan makes loud stomping sounds when walking. During Hour 5, Cyan will try to jumpscare the players before their carts roll down the track. She will appear at the end of the sequence as one of the Rainbow Friends needed to be avoided. Cyan then will fall down the garbage chute and begin to chase the players. When the surviving players reach the end of the chase sequence, Cyan will be unable to reach them, forcing her to return back to Odd World. Red: Up until the finale of Chapter 1, Scientist hides his appearance. The Scientist is a human wearing a lab coat and and a Looky mask (confirmed by the game files). The Scientist sports the Robloxian 2.0 package. The Scientist personality reads as none emphatic because of him letting the rainbow friends murder the student which at best are teenagers and the technician after he uses the fire works to Attempt murder on the technician but he is pretty smart because of him being Scientist with all of this red seems to be a psychopath. During Chapter 1, Scientist will explain what the player needs to collect to progress. He will also appear at the end once the player escapes from the vent. During Chapter 2, Scientist has a more significant role. In the beginning, the Scientist releases Green and Blue from a garage with a remote. During Hour 3, once the Lookies are released, he will ask the players to gather the Lookies before the drop tower full of explosives reach The Technician. However, if the players fail to collect all of the Lookies in the time limit, the Scientist will reveal the explosives were fireworks by setting them off. Regardless of either outcome, Scientist will allow the Technician down. At the very end of the chapter he also will search for Blue. Scientist's motives and origins are unknown. However, he does posses a lot of knowledge on each Rainbow Friend as well as the ability to influence them to some degree. However, this may not be true for Purple as he never directly acknowledges them. He is evil, sadistic, homicidal, likes murdering people for some reason, cold and distant and always bitter and short tempered. Orange: Orange is a reptilian Rainbow Friend reminiscent of a reptile or dinosaur with orange skin. He is characterized by two bulging eyes and two rows of sharp, conical teeth lining his elongated jaws. When running, he appears anthropomorphic and makes a pitter-patter sound whilst walking on his hind legs with his arms stretched out. Orange spends the vast majority of his time in his cave, only occasionally coming out to hunt players. He is very fond of food as seen in his reaction to not being fed. If the Players don't feed Orange for 2-3 minutes, the food bowl will slowly drain. Once it is fully drained, Orange will enter an enraged state and begin a hunt cycle. During a hunt cycle, orange will get up from his usual resting spot. He will follow a fixed pathway marked by an orange line to the Theater, killing any players he finds along the way. If a player is too close to Orange after he is fed, he will go into a hunt cycle. This acts the same as a normal hunt cycle, however, there will be no alarms or arrows indicating his pathway. To avoid Orange, the Player must use either their box or a locker to hide before orange runs by. If Orange sees you while you're entering a box, he will deviate from his normal path to kill you. He will later resume his rampage after. It is possible to escape him by cutting corners, but this method is difficult. He can also lose focus and become distracted by other players. During that time, it is advised to hide inside the box or a locker before his focus switches back to you. The food inside the bowl will still drain even if Orange is in search of food, meaning that refilling the bowl while Orange is in a hunt cycle becomes useless while they are running. This is due to the fact that it refills itself automatically when Orange returns to their hideout. In his jumpscare, Orange stands and looks at the player then opens his mouth wide, rolls his eyes back, and starts biting them. Super speed - Orange is shown to have incredible speed, being able to easily outspeed players with it. Large appetite - Orange has a constant need for sustenance, making him quite a high maintenance Rainbow Friend. Yellow: Yellow is a bird (confirmed by the game files) inspired monster who has a brown nest, a Helicopter-propeller, and two eyes with two long arms that seem to look like wings. He has sharp teeth, and has a pointed tail in his back. When he walks, he will keep his arms close together and stand tall, but when chasing after a player, Yellow will flap his wings with the mouth open (as shown in "Yellow Chase Cycle") and lean forward. According to fans, Yellow mostly resembles a Pterodactylus. For hour 2 through 4, Yellow will wander around looking for a player. If he sees a player, he will chase them around, similar to Blue's pattern. Unlike other Rainbow Friends, he will not instantly kill the player if he catches them. He will instead walk to a "pickup location", throw the player on the ground, snatch them in his feet, and fly. Yellow won't immediately fly if a player was found in a building, as Yellow will first hold the player, find a place where there's an opening, and will then fly once escorted out of a building. He will then fly around searching for his nest. The Technician will tell you to find a safe place to land. You will need to jump and land on the inflatable castle, in the river, or on a ride on the ferris wheel. It is not recommended to land on the ferris wheel as it requires precision. If the player escapes, he will give up and resume wandering around. If the player jumps elsewhere, they will fall on the ground and die. If they do not jump at all, Yellow will bring them to his nest where he will then kill the player himself. Running - Yellow can chase after players upon seeing them. Flight - Yellow can use his wings and propeller to fly around. Super strength - Yellow can pick up a Player with ease by his feet. Bad grip - Despite being able to carry Players, Yellow's claws are very easy to jump out of. Yellow's gender is confirmed to be Male, in Chapter 2 Hour 2's introduction dialogue, Red refers to Yellow with male pronouns. As for now Yellow is the only Rainbow Friend that players have a chance to escape from once caught. Yellow and Red are the only Rainbow Friends in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 whose real names are unrevealed (However: His name is "Yellow" in the game files part and sounds. It could also be Bird due to that being the model's name, however, his name most likely follows the naming pattern the others have, being named after their primary color). Yellow is very shy, has stage fright, a killer, and can fly. Blue: Blue is the main antagonist of Rainbow Friends, appearing as of Night 1 from Chapter 1 and onward, including the whole duration of Chapter 2. Blue is the first Rainbow Friend to appear in the game. During the first four nights, Blue will be one of the monsters actively scouring the area for any signs of the player. He is capable of opening doors and climbing ladders. If the player enters Blueโs direct line of sight, they will be chased after by him. To avoid being caught by Blue, the player can either hide in their box out of Blue's sight, hide under a table, hide in lockers, hide in a crouching space, or simply run away. If the player attempts to use their box while Blue see's them, they will have a red exclamation mark above their head and Blue will continue chasing the player, killing them when he has caught up. The player can also simply run away from Blue. In Chapter 1, his run speed is slower than the players. If Blue loses sight of the player, he will run to their last known location before freezing in place. Then, he will continue wandering. During the finale, he can be seen sitting in the middle of the stage asleep. The player is advised to not run into any balloons, as touching one causes it to pop, waking up Blue who will chase after the player who caused the disruption. After awhile of running from Blue, he will eventually give up and return to sleep on the stage. At the end of the balloon section, one will lower onto a fork placed by the escape door and awaken Blue, causing him to chase after the players. They must run through the exit door, shutting it on Blue and allowing them to have time to lower the ramp by moving blocks. Once Blue breaks through the door, he will chase the players through the ventilation system until the player is either caught or reaches the end, in which Blue gets stuck under the vent hatch and pushes himself back into the facility. In Chapter 2, Blue's behavior is similar to that of Chapter 1. However, he is notably faster, making avoiding him without the use of the box significantly more difficult. He no longer plays a major role in the Finale, only having to be leaned away from during one of the minecart segments. At the end of Chapter 2, he is seen to be sleeping on his throne which is placed in "Blue's Castle"; while The Scientist is wondering where he is. Superhuman Strength -Blue is capable of breaking down metal doors, as seen in the Chapter 1 Finale. He can also break down wooden boards with his face. Increased Durability - Blue has survived a ventilation hatch falling on him. In Chapter 1, itโs possible to simply run away from Blue due to his slow speed. This essentially makes Blue a minor issue unless he is blocking your path when trying to escape another character, such as Green or Orange. In Chapter 2, Blue is able to match your speed so it is not recommended to run from him. Blue is incapable of killing the player if they hide in crouch spaces, lockers, or tables. When moving, make sure that a hiding spot is always available in the event of Blue catching up to you. You should also stay near corners so you can turn a corner and hide in your box if Blue finds you. In Chapter 2, Blue is capable of spotting you from large distances away. This, however, can buy you enough time to hide without the risk of getting caught. Blue, Orange, Yellow and Purple are the only Rainbow Friends that have two hideouts since Blue has his Castle in Odd World / Chapter 2 and blue shower in Chapter 1, Purple has it's lair, and vents in Chapter 1 and 2, and Orange has his hideout in Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 that are like Orange's Cavern Coaster in Odd World and Orange's Hideout, for Yellow he has his nest.
