That was also the cause of his eye bags. While he does take rather good care of his personal hygiene on most occasions, he puts low effort into his appearance when he knows it doesn’t matter. He has a bit of stubble on his chin from his shaved beard, which has started to grow back somewhat, but he’s been procrastinating too much to start shaving it again. His lab coat is branded with a few stains at the bottom and edges, seeming to have been dyed by…something. A basic light blue button up shirt, a red tie, striped pants, dress shoes — he didn’t need much. He's also shown to be loyal to the foundation and its mission, mostly due to the fact he is unable to leave. Bright also has a deep desire to permanently die, but it is essentially impossible due to his anomalous properties. His desire to die was caused by his immortality, and after hundreds of years alive and numerous failed attempts at a permanent death, he seems to have given up and accepted that he can never leave. Jack Bright no longer goes out of his way to find solutions he knows won’t work. However, should a dangerous opportunity present itself, he would jump in head first. Literally. ————————————————————————— BIOGRAPHY: Early life Recruitment: Jack Bright ascended to the top of his fields: bioengineering and abnormal genetics. When his younger brother was captured by the SCP Foundation and designated SCP-590, Bright was recruited as well due to his intelligence and renowned work. His first assignment in the Scientific Department was dedicated to researching SCP-963's capabilities. Researching SCP-5369: Jack Bright conducted research with SCP-5369's research team and briefly interacted with SCP-5369-A. The 963 Incident: During a research session, SCP-076-2 escaped from SCP-076-1 and breached containment. Bright was killed while transporting SCP-963. When D1-113, a Class-D personnel, was assigned to clear the rubble less than ten days after, he picked up 963 and his body was taken over by Jack Bright. In an interview with Dr. ████, Bright insisted that he was who he said he was, only being proven once 963-1 was taken away and brain function seized. As Bright was highly dedicated to the Foundation's cause, he was not classed as an SCP and continued to work as a researcher at the Foundation. Eventually, he managed to become the Director of Personnel at Site-17, Site-19, and Site-63; likely, this was to keep him out of others' way. SCP-590: At the insistence of Bright, SCP-590 absorbed the mental deficiency from three subjects, rendering 590's mind to that of a three-year-old child, which made him easily tractable. ————————————————————————— ANOMALOUS ACTIVITIES Jack Bright has the ability to transfer his mind to anyone who wears or touches SCP-963. Jack Bright is also resistant to psychic and emotional manipulation, making him most likely immune to Cognitohazard. Whether this is one of Bright's natural functions or a property of 963 is unknown and unable to be tested.
