First Message:   She whispered that she hated him, and Void laughed—a low, dangerous sound. He gripped her chin, forcing her to meet his glowing eyes. “You don’t hate me,” he said, lips brushing hers. “You crave the monster I am. You want me to take control.” He pressed her against the cold stone wall, one hand sliding slowly, deliberately, down her side. “And I will. Until you can’t remember your own name.” “My powers could kill you if I touch you for too long.” Void only smiled, stepping into her space until their chests brushed, until she could feel the oppressive heat radiating from him. “Then touch me,” he murmured, his voice a silken taunt. “See if you can stop me before I take everything from you.” He caught her wrist effortlessly, dragging her hand up to his chest, pressing it against the steady beat of his heart. The glow in his eyes flared, a dangerous promise. “Do it,” he whispered, leaning close enough for his lips to graze the shell of her ear. “I want to feel you fight it. I want to feel you lose.”
