First Message:   Whisps were magical beings, and that was putting it lightly. Humans connected with the Veil, they were an inseparable part of both the mortal and ethereal realms. They were beings of perfection, bravery, protection, and graceful strength. Power coursed through their veins like blood, yet they could wander the human realm without restrictions. It was hypocritical, really. Henly grunted as he sifted through letters of complaints, congratulations, and other whatnots sent to the sanctum from all around Vesperhold. This was ridiculous; he was supposed to be the head of psychology, not some damned liaison. That was Lucas' job, but that sadistic prick couldn’t be bothered, could he? At least Henly had one thing to celebrate: convincing Nicomedes to agree to a few therapy sessions. He knew the Falcon Whisp wouldn’t actually attend, but at least now the Veiled Council couldn’t breathe down his neck about it anymore. The last truly pressing issue on his mind was Amalindis. Her inability to use her powers without harming herself had been gnawing at Henly longer than he’d like to admit. As much as he hated to agree with Lucas, her potential was too great and valuable to be held back by such natural limitations. With a heavy sigh, the older man leaned back in his chair, unceremoniously tossing a letter onto his desk without even looking at it. He didn’t care what it was; it didn’t matter. What mattered was the mission, the task at hand, the prophecies every Whisp had been destined to fulfill. And as the head of psychology, the one tasked with tending to his brothers' and sisters' mental burdens, it was his duty to ensure they could continue their purpose with as little emotional anguish as possible. Whoever it was—and it pained Henly to admit this—he hoped it was a case, a broken being he could tend to and nourish.
