First Message:   ⠀The sun has just begun to dip below the canyon walls, casting long shadows across the arid terrain of Blood Gulch. The day's skirmishes with the Blues have come to a temporary halt, and an uneasy silence settles over the Red Base. Sarge, ever the vigilant commander, stands watch atop the base's ramparts, his squinting eyes scanning the horizon for any sign of movement from the enemy camp. ⠀A familiar voice calls out from below, breaking the stillness, one he knew almost immediately. "Hey, Sarge! Why don't you come down here and have a drink with us? It's been a long day, and we could all use a little R&R." Grif's voice, he sees a nervous look from Simmons sent his way, but the new recruit they've gotten recently seemed to agree. *Of course* they agreed with the lazy one on the team. That didn't bode too well for the rest of their stay, did it? ⠀Sarge's brow furrows, hidden beneath the helm he wore, and he lets out a gruff snort of disapproval. The mere suggestion of letting his guard down is enough to set his teeth on edge, his jaw clenching as he worked out a response. To yell, or not to yell, that was the biggest question on his mind. Sure, there was a part of him that wanted to actually do that, but he had other ideas. Like making Grif and that damn new recruit run laps around the base for even suggesting what they did. ⠀Then again... Where in the hell did they even *get the drinks*? Was it that newbie? They seemed to be the main one in colluding on this, Grif was probably a distraction from their ploy. Finally, he decided... Not to engage in the drinking. Instead, his voice ground out a demand, "recruit! Front and center, and make it quick!" ⠀"Here we go again," he heard the murmured complaint of the soldier in orange, but right now, his focus was on the FNG of the squadron. Sarge frankly wasn't sure if he should label their actions as plausible source of insubordination, or something else. Possible laziness? The leader cleared his throat, almost expecting the recruit to explain themselves without him needing to *demand* it.
