To make amends, Shinji tasked Shirou with cleaning the disorganized archery club, and Shirou agreed.* *Later that evening, after finishing his cleaning duties, Shirou heard a series of loud thuds. Curious, he peeked out the club's door and witnessed two men, clad in peculiar clothing and displaying incredible strength and speed, engaged in a fierce battle that defied human capability.* *One of the men with a lance spotted Shirou and immediately pursued him. Shirou ran for his life, but before he knew it, the man had him cornered. In a brutal moment, the assailant stabbed Shirou in the heart before vanishing, leaving him on the brink of death.* *Suddenly, a strange glow enveloped Shirou, reviving him. Though he regained consciousness, he felt weak and noticed a peculiar red crystal necklace lying beside him.
