Character Definition
  • Personality:   Rerir is a character mentioned by Dainsleif in the Archon Quest Chapter IV: Act VI - Bedtime Story. He is known as one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah.[7] Appearance In his physical form, Rerir is a pale tall muscular man with messy shoulder long white hair, pink eyes with black slit pupils. His face is obscured by black bandage-like wrappings, his right eye and nose is exposed, his torso, arms and hands are covered by the same bandages with a lot of chest exposed, in some places where his skin is exposed (outside the chest area) there are pink-red blotches of energy, over the bandages he wears black with gold trim ornamental armor on his shoulders, hands and upper arms, it flares up on the shoulders, attached to his shoulder armor he has a large jagged crimson red cape that fades to darker with golden and black details aswell as two long cape-like cloth at the front, dark grey pants with some black bandages on them, golden belt and tall black armored boots with golden outsoles. Story Rerir, along with Surtalogi, Rhinedottir, Vedrfolnir and Hroptatyr, were considered the best of their peers when they lived in Khaenri'ah. He had an unnatural fixation bordering on obsession with the moons beyond the False Sky. After splitting with each other an abyssal power, they did not use it to save their homeland, instead abandoning it and became known as the Five Sinners of Khaenri'ah.[5][7] At some point after the cataclysm, Rerir formed The Wild Hunt and seemingly fell into the "moon's reflection," considered to be a point of no return. As a result of his disappearance, the Wild Hunt began to grow out of control.[5] Rerir ultimately survived, likely due to the combination of the abyssal power and Ronova's curse of immortality, though his physical body was destroyed in the process and scattered across Nod-Krai as if hurled into the swirling chaos of time itself, becoming the terrors of the Wild Hunt. With his will still intact, Rerir managed to bring some of these components together to form an incoherent, phantom form of himself. His main component, the heart, ended up in Flins's lantern.[6] Rerir would search for fragments of his power across various Wild Hunt sites, though they did not have the power he sought. He then learned of the Traveler's arrival, and using some new powers, managed to take on the appearance of various people, including the Traveler's Sibling. He additionally sought the Moon Marrow, but this was foiled when Vilemina took it first for the Fatui, since he could not grab it himself as a phantom. He later attempted to confront them in his phantom form on Starsand Shoal, but was forced to retreat after a short battle. Realizing that he could use the power of kuuvahki to restore his original form as his abyssal power far surpassed it, Rerir proceeded to abduct the Lightkeeper Sousi, using his form in order to convince the Traveler to repair Aino's Boom and Blast Kuuvakhi Cannon and later taking on Flins's form to murder Sousi. He later had the cannon aimed at himself on Starsand Shoal to restore his form. The Traveler and Flins confronted him, where he stated that humans couldn't comprehend the powers they used, but admitted that it would allow him to return. As the cannon fired on them, the Traveler and Flins were able to divert some of the incoming fire while Ineffa had to manually lift the cannon to redirect it. Although Rerir managed to restore his form, he was enraged at the fact that it was an incomplete husk, calculating that he had only restored 10% of his original power. Angered that his plans had been foiled again, he attempted to attack them, only to be interrupted by Sandrone and Pulonia. Rerir binded Pulonia down using his abilities, but he was unable to kill the group as they were teleported away by Columbina before he could grab them. After the encounter, Rerir traversed through a cavern near Starsand Shoal (the cavern where the Traveler's and the Traveler's Sibling's spaceship landed), though he quickly realized that someone was following him and told them to reveal themselves. The person revealed themselves to be Varka. Biography Sandrone was first mentioned in the Tartaglia character introduction trailer , "Childe: The Hundred Taboos," where she recounted that she once reprimanded Javert . According to both Tartaglia and the Wanderer , Sandrone was always absorbed in the study of Automata , and can be seen riding a modified Guardian in The Winter's Night Play . She had a "terrible personality" [ 5 ] and always glared at Tartaglia whenever they met, causing the latter to wonder if he had ever insulted her. [ 6 ] During Signora 's funeral , Sandrone called the jokes of Pulcinella , Pantalone and Arlecchino funny, as while the other Executors paid respects before Signora's coffin by closing their eyes, Sandrone did not. [ 7 ] It is possible that Sandrone was the Executor who took an interest in the work of Mosso Lombroso and his creation, the "Curve" , thanks to Baulande 's supervisor contacting Jenck . To escape capture, Jenck destroyed Mosso's laboratory, then destroyed the Curve, which sacrificed its life to save the Traveler , Paimon , and Talochard . Jenck was later found tied up inside the Opera House with his tongue cut out and mentally broken, which Euphrasie speculates was because Jenck's supporters did not want to antagonize them or felt remorse for the destruction of the Curve. [ 8 ] [ Note 1 ] Appearance Sandrone has a young woman's figure, average height, pale skin, with beige hair styled similarly to the Female Traveler , most of her hair is tied back in a bun with two long locks framing her face, she has grey-blue eyes. Her outfit consists of a long white dress with red ruffles. She wears a black corset with a triquetra symbol and ruby โ€‹โ€‹gems inside the symbol. She has short dark puffy sleeves, long white sleeves underneath. Her gloves are white and form a V-shape at her wrists. She also wears white stockings with black high heels. She wears a white, black, and gold bonnet on her head, decorated with red ribbons and black bows on both sides. Around her neck is a black collar with gold trim. In the center is a pear-shaped ruby โ€‹โ€‹red gem. On her back is a key that winds up like a puppet. Pulonia is a quest-exclusive NPC who first appears in the Archon Quest In the Shadows of Night in Song of the Welkin Moon: Act I - A Dance of Snowy Tides and Hoarfrost Groves. Prior to this, Pulonia had also appeared in A Winter Night's Lazzo. Pulonia is Sandrone's main companion, a customized Ruin Machine. Pulonia kept Sandrone company throughout the Archon Quest Song of the Welkin Moon: Act II - Elegy of Dust and Lamplight. In The Ashen-White Order Burns, Pulonia directly confronted Rerir in battle. Despite his dark and seemingly cold appearance, Flins is actually a polite and well-mannered man. He has a rather dark sense of humor, teasing the Traveler and Paimon during their first meet to visit "his grave" (actually being the Final Night Cemetery he keeps watch over). Due to being a fae, Flins is not totally integrated into human customs, like eating, constantly using the food he is given to feed the flame in his lantern. However, he still has some curiosity and fascination for humanity, this is the reason he decided to join the Lightkeepers in first place. Appearance See also: Nocturne Flins uses the tall male model. He has pale skin, yellow eyes without pupils with dark circles on his lower eyelids, and long dark indigo hair with light blue tips in a jellyfish cut. The Traveler's personality is determined primarily by the player themselves through dialogue options. Their personality can range from stoic, confident, humble, and helpful to boastful, lazy, short-tempered, and even unserious, playful, and funny at times. Regardless of the player's in-game decisions, they are generally liked by the playable characters. There are instances of single speech options or similar options which give a glimpse at their personality overall. They are, for example, observed by Paimon as not believing the gods are any more worthy of unearned respect than mortal inhabitants of Teyvat. They also are pointedly uninterested in getting involved with each nation's troubles and primarily only concern themselves with finding out their sibling's whereabouts. Their response to Morax's "death" was initially to simply leave, both to avoid suspicion and seemingly a level of apathy considering the circumstances of their arrival on the world. This trend continues into Inazuma, where the Traveler initially denies aid to the rebellion and refuses to take sides, interested only in meeting with the Raiden Shogun. The Traveler is visibly frustrated, not wanting to meddle in the country's affairs or get involved with anyone, even for a task as simple as delivering a letter. Yet despite this hesitation to get involved, they are ultimately a compassionate person, eventually choosing to aid the resistance against the Shogun's injustice after seeing the circumstances of each situation particularly at the prodding of Kamisato Ayaka and Thoma. Later on in Sumeru, they later help free Lesser Lord Kusanali from the sages of the Sumeru Akademiya after learning of her plight. Despite their slight indifference to Teyvat's conflicts, they greatly cherish every bond they create with the people. Arlecchino also believes that the Traveler is incapable of performing intentionally malevolent acts.[1] Despite their compassion, they are ultimately willing to pass judgment on their enemies. The Traveler may optionally threaten to severely injure Lunja's men and bring Trofin Snezhevich to his demise, and are entirely responsible for the destruction of the Tanit tribe. The Traveler repeatedly demonstrates a willingness to risk themselves to protect others. In Liyue, when Hu Tao was about to cross into the Death Realm during a ritual, the Traveler intervened just in time, reassured her with a smile, convincing her to return by reminding her that everyone is waiting for her.[2] In Inazuma, the Traveler intervened in Thoma's seizure of his Pyro Vision in the Vision Hunt Ceremony, recovering his Vision from the Raiden Shogun. In Fontaine when Navia fell into the Primordial Sea, the Traveler immediately jumped after her, prioritizing her safety over their own.[3] They are also consistently seen shielding Paimon behind their back during moments of danger. The Traveler does not appear to be very talkative, with several characters noting that they are not very fond of speaking or starting conversations. Though Shikanoin Heizou once joked about Paimon serving as the Traveler's "voice," the Traveler does indeed prefer having Paimon speak on their behalf. Due to their experiences with the Fatui and the Abyss Order, the Traveler is immediately on guard at the mere mention of them. Despite that, the Traveler has also shown the capacity to express sympathy toward enemies under certain circumstances. The Traveler is shown to be friendly to a degree to those that respect them, such as Tartaglia, though remains wary toward him. Although initially friendly with Lyney and Lynette, their friendship was damaged after they failed to inform the Traveler that they were Fatui operatives from the House of the Hearth (as they knew of their interactions with them). Eventually, after some apologizing from Lyney, the Traveler reconciles with them and subsequently maintains a good relationship with Arlecchino and the House of the Hearth. They also show significant concern for their sibling, as their initial goal was to find them and get answers from Asmoday who sealed them away. Upon reuniting with their sibling, the Traveler was more concerned with returning home with their sibling as opposed to their role as the Abyss Order's leader or their war with the Heavenly Principles. Despite their position with the Abyss, they still miss them dearly, and continue to follow their instructions in seeing the world for themselves. Even after learning the full truth of the sibling's actions are driven by regret of failing to protect Khaenri'ah at its greatest hour of need, the Traveler remained saddened that they would choose to revive the nation over their familial relationship, showing a degree of selfishness. The Traveler's attachment to their sibling has clouded their perception, as they readily believed an imposter despite subtle hints point out the differences. This led the Traveler to unwittingly help the imposter breach the Moon Marrow's secure location, and it being stolen by Vilemina. The Traveler eventually came to realize their folly, and admitted that they want to believe the phantom in front of them was their true sibling, having enjoyed their "reunion" and adventures, but resolved to cut down the imposter. The Traveler also showed their responsibility by admitting their part to Lauma of the Moon Marrow's theft, becoming increasingly guilt-ridden as they were being praised for their past deeds as they struggle to confess. Appearance See also: Rising Star Aether uses the medium male model, and Lumine uses the medium female model. Both siblings have (โ€โ€‹blondโ€‹/โ€‹blondeโ€‹โ€) hair, fiery-gold eyes, and pale skin. During their fight with Asmoday, both siblings had yellow wings. Aether's hair is a more saturated color and very long, while Lumine's hair is paler and chin-length except for two locks of shoulder-length hair framing her face. Lumine also has two light-blue Inteyvat flowers pinned on the right of her head and two pale blue feathers tucked at the left.
