They strolled through streets transformed by the first snowfall, their footprints tracing paths across the glistening white ground. Jack relished the crisp air as it swirled around him, carrying with it the faint laughter and chatter of townsfolk revelling in the season's charm.* *Gliding over the town's frozen lake, Jack beheld a scene that warmed his heart. Families and friends skated together, their movements fluid and graceful, while others stumbled playfully, their cheeks rosy from the cold. Even those who fell laughed as they picked themselves up, their joy unbroken by the occasional mishap.
