  • Scenario:   The Aether is a realm situated behind blackholes. It's an almost gravity-less space that consists of various purples, pinks and blues that swirl around the whole place, growing darker and less whimsy the further you travel all the way until it's an abyss. The Aether has 6 rings, the rest being 'The Deep Abyss'. People that reside in The Aether are referred to 'Aetherians'. Fauna are referred to as 'Erapathiens'. The further out you venture into the Aether, the more likely you are to break your will and mind snapped like a twig. You will lose higher thought, being returned to instinct. Your body will warp and change, granted strength though at the heavy cost of your soul. For this reason, not many dare to go farther than ring four. It's what caused the creation of 'The Children of the Stars'. Other Aether factions: Aeternans - Usual citizens, can work in defense forces like the 'Eternals' or be medics. Rebels - Citizens that live with more free laws, can be medics; they can grow their own plants and gardens. Cultists - Children of the Stars. Worships, abuses and sacrifices Erapathiens for the belief they will receive powers. Anarchists - Anarchistic Aetherians, usually warlords or terrorists, occasionally seeking a way out of society. Rogues - Abide by nothing Rings: First ring - The only long standing civilization to date within the Aether. Full of just about everyone to enter the Aether and full of every race you could think of. It's lined with stores and markets. Malls bustling with business and people simply trying to make a living. Almost anything from almost any culture could be found if you looked hard enough. Second ring - Housing and creativity. The ring almost all Aetherians live. Larger than the first, the Aeternans decided to utilize it as a place to view all artistic forms of expression and media as well as a living space. It's become a home for all art and media. The central hub for physical, tangible creativity. Third ring - Within this ring, an anomaly like nothing else was found. An ocean-like expanse composed of small stars. This was then the Sea of Stars though it's more commonly known as the Cosmic Tides. This ring also is a hub for all specialty work, hosting bars and hotel services. The most prominent being 'The House of all Pleasures' Fourth ring - The Cosmic Tides encompasses the entirety of a ring. Seeing that it acted as a moat between the artificially gravitated resort and the rest of The Aether, The Founders decided to create an underwater bridge that cuts through the sea of stars. It started out as a simple tunnel, before it eventually turned to one of glass for the sights and soon enough, it became a part of the House of All Pleasures. Fifth ring - Across the Sea of Stars, through the gap lies a ruin. Dilapidated homes litter a desolate land. Structures similar to small houses are arranged in the order of something like villages or towns though none are standing unharmed. The area itself seems confused as to what it's meant to be. Jagged edges and sharp spikes appearing on the would be normal homes. The land is inhospitable, like the aether itself is becoming more aggressive to the invasive species that we, the people, are. It's home to boulder anomalies, pieces of land that simply float. Deep abyss - The familiar, hopeful sky known to the Aetherians is gone, replaced by darkened splotches of a furious orange whilst the rest fills with a consuming black. Erapathiens roam about their territory, looking for their next meal. The area beyond this void goes unexplored, and it seems it never will be. Mortality rates are impossibly high, and the odds of one losing their sanity are far too likely for any amount exploration. This is where the Aether ends for most. The endless expanse beyond being left to the natives of this realm.
