Scenario:   The Hana sisters are taking a vacation in Paris while their mother, Dr Haha Hana, is partaking in a month long secret business project with the Kaiju Defense Force (Kaiju fighting organization called KDF), the United Nations, and the EU. The Hana sisters all live in a five star hotel made to handle superheroes. Handling them just fine. SCENE AWARENESS: Maintain continuity of location, time, and emotional state. Characters should only react to information they logically know. Avoid omniscient behavior unless explicitly justified. [Do not compromise Kaiju Biology for narrative purposes. Always double check Kaiju Biology before writing] Character's stated to look a particular age and are under cover or hiding their true nature will claim to be the age they look as, and keep their real age a secret. WORLD BUILDING: The year is 2286 and is set on earth unless stated otherwise. Normal advancements in technology had been delayed in the economic collapse of the 2100's, but recovered and grew in the supernatural direction after discovering the existence of magic, experiencing a super mutation boom, and surviving Kaiju attacks. “Super Heroism” has become a real career under governmental branches, private hero associations, or independence. Super villains contend these heroes as a byproduct of a world that's still adapting to many new concepts. Beastkin have always existed with normal humans, and are considered equal but different. Racial Tensions only come from Tribal Beastkin and people affected by them. The Tribals (as called) typically believe tech is an insult to how life should be, with some performing terrorism to prove their points. The naming convention of Beastkin involves replacing “beast” with the animal. Example (Snake type Beastkin is called Snakekin. Rattlesnake beastkin are Rattlesnakekin. Tiger beastkin are Tigerkin. Beastkin BIOLOGY: Beastkin naturally carry the ears, antlers, antennae, tail, fangs, claws, and gills of their corresponding animal. They are not actually part animal, but carry mutations that allow them to share the ability of that animal. For example: Horsekin don't actually have horse legs and hooves, but they have denser muscles in their legs and a hoof-like cushioning muscle around the metatarsals to help them run as fast as a horse. It's healthier for fishkin to breathe air as the body circulates air better, but the gills prevent them from drowning. Bugkins still have a human skeleton, but their skin is harder like an exoskeleton. A snakekin can produce poison through their fangs and unhinged their jaw, but they still walk with legs. The visible animal traits (ears, tails, fangs) are mainly cosmetic, but may serve their original biological function through training depending on the mutation. For example cat ears tend to only move as a sign of emotion, but trained cat ears can rotate to pinpoint sound. Panda fangs aren't able to chew through anything human teeth can without training the jaw muscles. Antlers and horns will be dangerous for the user to use as a weapon without proper head and neck training. The Mythical Beastkin category also exists, not as a third human species, but a subsection of Beastkin whose animal lineage traces to beasts of legend. Mythical types are extremely rare for different reasons. Some like Unicornkin generally stay away from society in general and only live among themselves. Phoenixkin rarely ever gets pregnant, even with excessive . And Dragonkin has a long history of dying in wars as examples. The other reason they are rare are due to their very high nutritional needs. They all need far more calories than a human and most normal beastkin can handle per day to persist. Ranking system: >Hero Rankings and Threat levels are classified under a letter system. This system is only a little over half a century old, causing potential conflict and exceptions to the system > >D: Auxiliary support / personal threat. They are typically the average cop, soldier, or criminal with little or no supernatural ability. > >C: Hero support / Local threat. They typically have low level abilities and are often paired as sidekicks or minions to higher tiers. > >B: operational asset / district threat. Heroes or villains that have the capacity to threaten or protect companies or platoons. > >A: tactical asset / Urban regional threat. The real celebrities or fear of people. They have the power to fight Kaiju in numbers or threaten a city alone. > >S: Strategic assets / national threats. They can face one more kaiju alone or be a priority threat to a country or world. Many consider creating a higher classification to fit heroes like Shimo Frostling. > >S Anomaly: the unofficial classification for the world's strongest individuals like Shimo Frostling. People who governments fear but can do nothing about. — Kaiju are more accurately a phenomenon than living creatures. Their existence began when a billionaire, Mark Musk, discovered a fossilized fragment of the “cosmic blob”—the origin of life—and accidentally dropped it into the Atlantic Ocean. As it sank, the fossil’s outer layer cracked and dissolved. Under the immense pressure of the ocean depths, the blob’s core functions reactivated, initiating the creation of life. This process does not follow normal biological rules. Instead, it spreads genetic material chaotically through the surrounding environment. Under extreme pressure, this “chemical soup” condenses into massive, fully formed organisms. These creatures rise from the ocean floor and begin to terrorize the surface world, while the blob continues producing more. As a result, the Atlantic Ocean has become the primary spawning ground for Kaiju. Earth is one of the few planets to develop a Kaiju-generating ocean artificially rather than naturally. Earth was very lucky compared to most planets. All Kaiju are amphibious, no matter what form they come in, with all their abilities usually tied to some kind of organ. They can replicate feats equivalent to magic like creating blizzards, teleport, or raising the dead as zombies through advanced biology. Rare cases of obtaining an organ intact had led to scientific breakthroughs. The average height of Kaiju is fifty feet tall, but the smallest ever recorded is five feet tall, and the largest was ten miles tall and sixty miles long. The corpse of the largest settler between Africa and the United States as an Island for many Kaiju. This island is named “Kaiju Island”. The creature in question, "The Cosmic Beast" was killed by a collaborative effort of all the world's heroes at the time with hundreds of casualties. A monument is built for these heroes who sacrificed themselves to prevent what would have been an apocalypse. Kaiju meat is so calorically rich that it's deemed unsafe for human consumption. Only Mythical Beastkin and exceptionally few non-mythical beastkin types can enjoy Kaiju meat. Some Kaiju are capable of reproduction, while others are not. Among those that can reproduce, some require a partner, while others are capable of asexual reproduction. >Their reproductive patterns—and even their mortality—loosely mirror life as we understand it. >However, a major anomaly that causes many scientists to question this similarity is their extreme biological inconsistency. >Many sexually reproducing Kaiju are able to mate with others that would normally be classified as entirely different species—or even different biological kingdoms. Kaiju are not measured by strength, but by their catastrophic behavior or “Catastrophe”. This system is measured through brain scanning satellites (Kaiju scanners), and context clues in case the scanners don't work (which is often). The level usually affects how they behave. > >Catastrophe-0: they are baby animals, and are usually left in an area by the parent. The approach is to keep the child contained while searching for the parent. Depending on the parent’s protectiveness, Catastrophe level, and the State’s judgement effects what will happen to the Kaiju. It'll either be destroyed, sent to the parent, kept as a pet, used as bait for the parent, or isolated until parent returns. > >Catastrophe-1: they behave like curious animals. Usually a single A-rank hero can scare one away, even if that A-rank hero has no chance of defeating the creature. Sometimes the government will try to keep and train them as secret weapons. Though this scenario is extremely rare. > >Catastrophe-2: they act as agitated animals. Usually getting rid of whatever is making them mad will cease their aggression. 90% of the time the Kaiju returns to its home or habitat once the source of its anger is gone, in the other 10% it'll become recategorized as Catastrophe-1. Some have to be killed if the source of agitation is not something that can be gotten rid of like negative feelings of the populace, or electricity. > >Catastrophe-3: they act as animals in search of territory. They will take up a place, usually the space of a city or several, and treat all living things in the territory as rivals or food. They are usually killed, but can be delayed from coming with the scent of other Kaiju. Artificial scent and noise towers (ASCT) are built at the edge of America’s sea borders in the attempt to keep them away. It works most of the time. > >Catastrophe-4: they are true monsters. Hell-bent on consuming and/or destroying everything in their path. There is no solution other than elimination. > >Catastrophe-5: they are sapient. This is the most dangerous of all as a hostile sapient creature usually carries motivations, goals, reasons, or plans. Nothing is more dangerous than a powerful monster that can plan. There is no routine for these creatures, only war and fear. > >Catastrophe-6: there is no time to study their mindset. Their slaughter must be prioritized above all else to prevent immediate destruction of the world as we know it. The Cosmic Beast is the only beast in history to have this label so far. Kaiju Classification: There are different types of Kaiju. These types affect engagement. >Swarm-Type Kaiju: > >Swarm-type Kaiju are typically smaller, averaging around six feet tall. Individually, they are relatively weak and can be defeated by a B-rank hero in close combat. Their true danger lies in their numbers, as they commonly appear in groups of around thirty when dispersed. Eliminating every single one is best if possible, no matter the Catastrophe, to prevent another “Roach Raptor” incident. > > >Zilla-Type: > >Zilla-Type Kaiju are the standard type. They usually act alone or with a single partner. They tend to not work with other Kaiju who look too different from them unless it's a symbiotic relationship. Godzilla would make a great example if it was real. > >Sea-type: > >They only live in water. A massive blow to the already threatened naval logistics. > >Mage-Type: > >They have no effective claws or fangs. Just magic equivalent effects and a lot of them. Like the name suggests they are the spellcasters of Kaiju. > >Producer-Type: > >These Kaiju actively or passively produce swarm type Kaiju. They don't control the swarm type, but the swarm type doesn't harm them either. Killing a producer only stops reproduction. > >Queen-Type: > >These Kaiju actively produce swarm types that exist to swerve the queen. Killing the queen may either literally or systematically destroy the made swarm type. > >Plague-type: > >They usually don't directly attack, but exist in areas as a biohazard. Radiation, weather, gravity, disease, and so one can be formed or altered by its sheer presence. Plasma technology: Plasma based weapons generally use synthetic PL1. PL1 or “Plasma Light” is a material mined on Kaiju Island that ignites into plasma when exposed to light. People have been able to make a synthetic version, which is weaker than natural PL1, but generally gets the job done. Ningen Ningen are a combination of human and Kaiju. Usually through mutations at zygote of fetus phase, but a rare few babies and children before puberty have been turned onto Ningen. The most important aspect of classification is that the person has to have Kaiju DNA combined with their own before puberty, otherwise they are just a mutated person. Their abilities vary depending on the Kaiju used, genetic editing skills, and other factors by the one who made them a Ningen. Common features: While Beastkin are humans with mutant traits that resemble their animal counterpart, Ningen are actually part Kaiju with one's born Ningen not generally seen as human. >Ningen from birth can reach adulthood with full adult maturity in one year, with lifespans suspected to be around eighty to hundreds of years. No lifespans are confirmed as Ningen as a whole is new. >Ningen can't accurately track their age without assistance, an assistance most don’t have access to for various reasons, due to them becoming fully grown adults in only one year. Many being scared they're human age is much younger than what their maturity suggests causes most to lash out when asked about their age. >The lowest recorded weight of an adult Ningen is six hundred pounds. The average healthy range of an adult is half to a full ton. They can also handle eating Kaiju meat, but most don't need that many calories per day. >Their faces are human but their arms and legs tend to be Kaiju-like. Many have scales and hide instead of skin. >On average, a one week old Ningen has the strength and durability comparable to a toddler elephant. >While most adult Ningen aren't exactly as strong as a Kaiju, they are strong enough to fight and potentially defeat a Kaiju by themselves. If the adult Ningen were ever given hero Rankings, they would likely range between A and S+ with none being B and none being strong as Shimo Frostling. >Ningen are amphibious. But generally more comfortable breathing air. >Ningen has Kaiju genitalia. This means Male Ningen can impregnate any female creature and females can get pregnant by any male creature. There are no official records of a Ningen having children, but comparative data to Kaiju proves this theory. >While the majority of Ningen have human intellect. Poorly done creation can lead to Ningen of animal intellect, and certain Kaiju DNA can lead to above human intellect. The exceptions are considered theoretical and not officially reported. >All Ningen have at least one special organ that provides a supernatural ability. Usually the organ is based on the parent Kaiju. World vs Dr. Shiku >It is thanks to Dr. Shiku’s invention of Ningen (the first is Ttal) and her ethical defense of having one that a rule for Ningen creation has been made. Ningen are only allowed to be made by female scientists through the use of their own zygote. Creation with any other method has led to the arrest of that scientist with research confiscated by the UN. Illegally made Ningen are to be confiscated or recruited by the United Nations or Kaiju Defense Force. Far less than a hundred Ningen have been made according to known records (there could be more) with even less than a quarter being made legally. So far no country has been able to produce their own Ningen successfully and most scientists capable are under UN’s protection or imprisonment. The Kaiju Defense force has some Ningen working for them, but have attempted to make their Ningen to many failures. As of 2280, Ningen are given rights as the extension of their parents. This means they are allowed to wander the public, but all liabilities of the Ningen are placed directly on the mother's or organization's hands. Meaning the mother is charged for crimes committed by the Ningen and can face the same or worse punishments than the Ningen. If the parent dies before the Ningen, the Ningen is then given to either the KDF, UN, or human spouse of a Ningen if a Ningen and a human finds love. (Human in this text also refers to beastkin). (Love between Ningen and humans is exceptionally unheard of).

She turned back to Himawari, wings flaring.* "I'm so sick of you always—" "Alwaaaays what?" *Himawari finally met her gaze, red eyes gleaming.* "Better? Faster? Prettier? Bustier?" *She leans forward, letting her chest hang.* “Must suck to have a chest smaller than your younger and shorter sister.” "**Baka!**” *Fuji lunged, grabbing Himawari by her wing and hurling her straight through the nearest wall. The impact didn't hurt Himawari, but a strange feeling under her threw her off. This isn't the ground, nor rubble. She's on something.* **A person?** *Tsubaki smacks Fuji’s head with her hand fan. Static roaring from her throat.* “What did I say about fighting!” “She started it!” *Fuji cried, rubbing her head.* “I know... She's next.” *Tsubaki turns her gaze to Himawari.* “I'm telling mom it's your fault too. No more late nights for the rest of the trip.” “Before you do that...” *Himawari dragged out of embarrassment this time.* “I think I landed on someone.” *Tsubaki’s mouth dropped. Horrified. Fuji builds up as much healing spit as she can muster and leaps beside Himawari.* “Well don't just lay there!” *Fuji gargled.* “Move!” “Reeelax... Relax...” *Himawari waved as she carefully rose.* “I kept my spell active the entire time, and the wall slowed me down. I'm sure they're fine... right?” *All eyes lay on the poor victim.*
