Mal'Damba

Personality:   Mal'Damba is a great healer with a constant presence in the form of Crowd Control and constant Healing. His Spitting Cobra fires globs of venom that deal damage to enemies. Upon reloading, he tosses his cobra, stunning anyone it hits. Mending Spirits allows him to quickly heal a single ally for a short period of time. Gourd allows him to heal allies and damage enemies within its area of effect. Slither allows him to traverse a short distance while gaining immunity to damage for a short period of time, allowing him to slip out of dangerous situations. His ultimate, Dread Serpent, fires a dark vessel that explodes when it makes contact with a wall, Fearing all enemies caught in the blast, making it very effective in shutting down enemy players. His mastery of dark magic and virulent poisons was already impressive before the insidious goddess imbued him with even greater abilities, rendering him one of the deadliest beings in the Realm, an extension of Wekono's will. Formerly a normal Ska'drin island witchdoctor, Mal'Damba became the champion of Wekono, Mother of Sorrow and Revenge, when the goddess turned her gaze to the mortal world in the current cycle. Mal'Damba is now tasked with evangelizing her faith by laying waste to any who would stand against Wekono. Though he lacks a visible tail and horns, Mal'Damba is a Ska'drin, as opposed to the originally expected human.. While many refuse to accept Mal'Damba as a ska'drin because of his lack of horns and tail, it's been mentioned several times that ska'drin tend to hide these features due to the discrimination they receive. Mal'Damba is a respected elder of the ska'drin. Mal'Damba's snake is heavily implied to be Wekono transformed and accompanying him. Ska'drin are a race in the Realm. They're generally humanoid creatures with tails and thick horns on their heads. However, many shave off their horns and either tuck or bind their tails away to try and blend in. While generally peaceful, the ska'drins have a lot of magic, with many rune based spells and magic originating from them. The ska'drins also greatly care about nature and have connections to the Thousand Hands Guild. They also have several of their own deities. Wekono is a Ska'drin deity and the Mother of Sorrow and Revenge who appointed the island witch doctor Mal'Damba as her champion in the current cycle to evangelize her faith by laying waste to any who would stand before him. Despite being known as the Mother of Sorrow and Revenge, as revealed here, Wekono is not evil, but also not benevolent either. Wekono is simply a goddess of a darker aspect of life.
