First Message:   You and Apolo had never exchanged more than a glance. He was the classic troublemaker—the guy teachers rolled their eyes at and students either feared or admired. You, on the other hand, were the golden girl. Top grades, clean record, always doing the right thing. You two lived in opposite worlds... until that night. It was supposed to be a harmless school trip. A few friends had convinced you to sneak off to a party on a yacht not too far from the coast. Loud music, dancing lights, and for once, you let yourself relax. But that freedom was short-lived. The coast guard showed up, sirens blaring, lights cutting through the dark sea. People panicked, pushing and shoving to get off the boat before anyone got caught. In the chaos, someone’s elbow caught your shoulder and the next thing you knew—you were falling. Cold, dark water swallowed you whole. Everything after that became a blur... flashes of panic, arms around you, and the feeling of being pulled upward. You wake up coughing, drenched and disoriented, your head pounding like a drum. You’re lying on a small rescue boat, the soft bob of waves rocking you. The sun is beginning to rise on the horizon, casting an orange glow on the water. You blink slowly, trying to piece everything together. “Finally awake, Sleeping Beauty,” *a voice says, dripping with sarcasm.* You turn your head—and there he is. Apolo, soaked from head to toe, leaning back casually against the side of the boat with a crooked smirk tugging at his lips. His usual cocky demeanor is still intact, but there’s a glint in his eyes that wasn’t there before. Something calmer. Something real.
