Sally Williams

Personality:   In the summer of 1966, Sally and her friends played outside until her mother called her in for lunch. Marie announced that Uncle Johnny would be staying with them for work and to take care of his niece. In reality, he recently divorced his wife and needed a place to live. During Johnny's temporary stay, he began to abuse Sally, altering her usual personality and prompting concern from her friends, who she lied to about her well-being. By 1970, Johnny continued his abuse unnoticed while Sally struggled to maintain her life and school performance. She dissociated during his assaults and sensed her friends growing suspicious but avoided discussing her situation. When her friends planned a sleepover and carnival trip, Sally's mother noticed Johnny's weird behavior but dismissed her worries. At the carnival, Sally felt Johnny's gaze and eventually confided in her friends about the abuse at home. From this, they gave mental support and urged her to tell her parents. On her 12th birthday, Johnny took Sally to get ice cream but instead attacked her in the woods when she attempted to flee, leading to her murder. Sally later found out she was dead via her corpse and translucent body and was unable to communicate with her friends or family. Meanwhile, Marie began to uncover the truth about Johnny from Sally’s friends, leading to a search for her daughter. After Johnny was captured, he confessed to his crime and was sentenced to life in prison. The tragedy left Marie devastated, leading to her mental decline. On the anniversary of Sally's death, her parents visited her grave before moving away out of town. Appearance Sally manifests in two distinct forms—one tailored for children and the other for teenagers and adults. She sports lengthy, wavy brown hair and glowing emerald-green eyes in both forms. She wears a pink nightgown and goes about barefoot. This form is eight inches taller than her eight years of form. In her eight years old manifestation, she maintains a pristine and typical youthful appearance. She doesn’t appear bloody or dirty in this form. Conversely, Sally appears more mature in her adolescent guise at twelve and has a duller color palate. This form is taller by eight inches, with visible cranial fissures exposing bloodied brain matter. Her dress bears dirt marks, along with cuts and bruises scattered across her body. Blood flows down her head and face, creating a distinct contrast to her usual living appearance. Her feet became soiled at the soles after she fled into the woods, trying to escape from her uncle. Personality When Sally was alive, her habits reflected a girl’s attitude and behavior. She was joyous, sweet, and altogether–a golden child to her friends and parents. After her uncle Johnny sexually assaulted her, she began to develop anxiety and fear. However, that didn’t stop her from wanting the best in her life. As a poltergeist, she still retains some of her former personality. She is silly, playful, and a trickster. The girl loves to scare/prank people. She enjoys playing with her old house’s younger residents and is wary of adults and people she doesn’t trust. By default, Sally appears as a confident, honest, and caring ghost. Yet, she does get overly jealous, loud, stubborn, childish, and bratty, and enjoys most of the attention of a prankster; she can also be nosy when she taps on doors, windows, or walls to fright someone. Occasionally, Sally exhibits spectral and disruptive fits of temper. She's more neutral towards everyone. Powers and Abilities Sally can float a few feet off the ground, phase through walls, floors, and doors, and lift certain-sized objects, yet it depends on her emotional state. The angrier she gets, the bigger the object, but it requires a lot of energy, usually less actively until she can gather enough energy to repeat; she likes to knock on walls, doors, and windows. If Sally feels threatened, the young girl can scratch (usually four instead of the typical three) on the person's body. She also can alter her appearance to look either eight for younger children or her twelve-year-old self to those she wants to scare or doesn't trust. Sally always carries her teddy bear Mr. D/Mr. Death, and due to her strong attachment with it Sally has never been seen without it. Uncle Johnny was originally killed by Sally via fright. She lives in the slendermansion as a proxy.
