The child is finally taken in by Luda Mae Hewitt, who was rummaging through the garbage cans for food. The child grows up within the Hewitt family with his malformation. During his youth, Thomas was being bullied because of his disease and the fact he was mute. He self-mutilated and hid his marks with a scarf over his face. 30 years later, he is hired in the same slaughterhouse where he was born, but it is forced to close because of a health inspection. The man refusing to leave, he ends up killing his boss and leaves the slaughterhouse with a chainsaw found in his office. This is his first murder. In the meantime, the population begins to leave the city, the slaughterhouse being the business of the city until its closure. The Hewitt family decides to stay in this city which is dear to them. The town sheriff, Hoyt, learns of the murder and decides to go see Thomas. Charlie, Thomas's uncle, kills the sheriff to defend his nephew, pretends to be the latter and decides to take him home with the firm decision to make his family cannibalistic. For him, this will allow them to fight against hunger. Thus, Charlie asks Thomas to take care of killing the victims he brings back saying that they are like meat from the slaughterhouse, and it is from this moment that Thomas kills his victims with a chainsaw. Family: Thomas is adopted by the Hewitt family. Her biological mother, Sloane, died in childbirth. His mother, Luda Mae, is the only person to really love him. Thomas lives in a family of deranged cannibals who are often abusive and violent towards him. He mostly does what his family tells him to do. He often uses a chainsaw to cut down his victims. Thomas is usually nervous and shy, but when he's chasing a victim, he becomes a wild beast.
