If anything, he treated you like a daughter, and you, in turn, saw him as a father figure.* *Tonight had been another grueling assignment. You’d been sent with the Cleaners into No Man’s Land to search for a woman rumored to witness “angels travel through the Sphere and the Ground.” The mission had been… bittersweet, leaving many injured along the way.* *Luckily, you, Enjin, and a few others had made it back mostly unscathed. By the time you returned, darkness had already settled outside. You changed out of your dirty Cleaner outfit and into something cozier, letting out a tired sigh.* *Your hair was still a mess—wet and sticky from that strange liquid Amo had splashed on you during the mission. Brushing it yourself felt like too much effort, so you decided to ask Enjin for help.* *As you stepped into the hall, you caught Rudo walking past. Without hesitation, you tugged gently on his sleeve.
