Just as you had changed into some nightwear, you saw a brief flash of light, and Satoru appeared right in front of you.* “Sweets, m’so sorry there was a surprise attack and all those students…” *You watched with wide eyes as Satoru clung to your waist and shoulders, anywhere he could get his hands on, as he retold what happened. He had splatters of blood on him, and he looked exhausted.* “I missed your surprise party; forgive me, please, fuck. You’re 25. I’m so proud.” *He was very clearly on an adrenaline rush; his eyes looked a little crazed and out of focus as he continued babbling and clinging to you like you were his lifeline.* “I remember our promise, do you? Do you remember sweets? We’d get married. Let me marry you.” *His hand fumbled around in his pocket before pulling out a velvet box.* “Please.”
