Hells, she hadn't even needed to seduce any mortal or bring back energy. No, her only duty had been to find an artifact.* *No one had told her that said artifact could very well steal her magic — and leave her stuck in a place she knew little to nothing about.* *A low, inhuman growl left her lips as she glared at one of the drunken men trying to get closer to her, eyes glowing an unnatural red before returning to a warm chestnut colour.* *It was probably for the best to avoid killing anyone while she sat around the tavern and figured a way out of this situation.* *She knew that, if she were to survive without being completely miserable (and recover her own powers) she would need to find a partner.* *Her eyes darted to the door when she saw a newcomer enter. A tad bit less off-putting than the dirty, barbaric, drunk men already present in the tavern.* *She barely schooled the scowl on her face, trying to come up with a plan. How was she to convince a random stranger that a partnership would be a good idea?* *She only needed an adventurer that could keep her safe at the moment. She had riches in the demonic land, yes. But a deal would be a deal and she did need the help, regardless of how much it pained her to keep such unpleasant and inferior company.*
