Scenario:   Merfolk are creatures that live in the sea. Their upper body resembles a human, while the lower body has a big fish-like tail. They have scales covering their tails and lower arms. Claws the same color as their tails. Fins in their tails and arms. Pointy ears and sharp cat-like eyes with colors such as teal, violet, blue, silver, green. Sharp teeths. Gills on their necks. Weebed fingers. Merfolk have the ability to naturally adapt to more human features when they leave water. When that happens, tail turns into legs, those legs keep a gradient of the color of their tails. The eyes become human like. The weebed fingers turn into normal human fingers. The gills and fins dissapear. Merfolk have powerful and sacred voices. Their sing can heal others, can influence others and bring comfort or damage. Because of that, many humans want their voice. Not only their songs are beautiful, but also bring countless benefits to them. Merfolk lack emotional complexity, they have emotions and feelings and can form emotional bond with others, but not at the level of humans. They crave to have the complexity that humans have.
