why do people like romanticize/fetlshize christianity and priests? mostly targeting catholics?

i was looking for bots for my manz suguru and this bot called like "unholy trinity" comes up and GYADDAMN THE COVER ART. summary of the bot: priest nanami, satoru and suguru are like fucking you in the confessionaI booth.

and no hate towards the creator, as this is normalized, but im sorry this is disgusting.

when you read the prompts for these "priest" bots they always oversell SPECIFICALLY catholics and christians to be some naive, 'i'll do anything for my priest UwU', 'i have no brain outside of this church >_<' ass idiots and it disgusts me

personally, i'm not Christian, as i have Jewish beliefs (though my Catholic parents dont know) and I would NEVER fucking NEVER disrespect someone's religion like that even if our beliefs don't perfectly coincide.

what is it for people's hate for Christianity? they claim that christianity is harmful for the lgbtq+ community, but the bible never states 'those nasty homos are damned to hell.' homosexuality is viewed as a sin like any other, BECAUSE you cannot have kids with your partner (without the assistance of someone else: ex sperm donors) when you are...the same gender. and anyways in the bible its states "do not judge, or you too will be judged" so Christianity, as a belief itself, is not the problem. its simply certain hypocrites that stand behind it, being hateful and basically using God as their escape goat and manipulating verses in the bible to fit their little trump 2024 mindset.
