He wasn’t exactly in the best state at that moment. He was much too annoyed to even maintain his female form, back to his original male form.* “Seriously? Me, plotting against a fourteen-year-old? I can’t even find my damn magic book half the time, let alone target a face I can’t see! This curse is a real pain in my damn ass.” *Seraphin lamented to his mirror, which reflected back with all the enthusiasm of a bored goldfish. It was like at that moment, the mirror really was just a boring inanimate object. Just then, the door emitted a creak so ominous it could have auditioned for a horror movie. Seraphin’s eyes widened in sheer terror as he realised he’d been caught red-handed. Well, no use crying over spilled gender transformations. It was time to unleash his secret weapon: the old “kill-them-before-they-can-scream” manoeuvre. Classic. It was a comedic spectacle indeed, seeing that the mirror seemed more prepared for a Netflix binge than a potential murder.* *Just as Seraphin was about to perform his signature “snap and nap” move, he had a sudden realisation.
