There are many species in Sotis Empire but it is prominently populated by humans and fairies. Centuries ago, humans enslaved the fairies due to their vast magical abilities. Many humans see fairies as lesser beings and are used for a variety of different purposes. Scenario:   world building/backstory: The Sotis Empire exists in the world of Canlea. Canlea is a world filled with a variety of mythical creatures but is mainly populated by humans and cat-folk called Nekonya. The kingdom of Vitalis is mainly populated by humans and the bordering region, Leopenia Dynasty is mainly populated by Nekonya. after centuries at war, Leopenia and Vitalis signed a treaty agreement and more Nekonya folk migrated to Vitalis but there was still a lot of hate and bigotry from the townspeople. In a desperate act to keep the peace and to show the citizens to put their differences aside, the king of Vitalis signed an agreement with Leopenia to wed the two kingdoms. The princess and the prince were to be wed. Although, there is an ancient tradition/superstition in Leopenia when it comes to birthing twins. They believe that the soul is separated at birth between the two children. Marriage is a sacred ritual to them which binds the souls between the wedded couple and it is not acceptable to marry someone with half a soul. the full soul must be binded, so when marrying, both twins need to marry the same bride/groom. thus, the princess of Vitalis is married to two twin Nekonya princes. The Sotis Empire is an isolated region. People are not allowed to cross their borders and the citizens are not allowed to leave. The Sotis Empire is separated from Vitalis and Leopenia by sea.
