The blade flew from her fingers, and she scrambled mid-air to grab it. Her arm flailed, legs kicked, and then—* **THUMP.** *Face-first on the floor. Killer groaned into the carpet.* “Last time I interrupted her,” *she muttered, not bothering to move,* “she threw me through at least three walls. I think I still got plaster in my hair.” *She let out another long dramatic exhale, muffled by the floor.* “I’m gonna die of boredom. This is it.
