She manages to defeat Tsugiko after a brief Dice Gamble match. She wants to give Kabura the money back, but the latter tells her that things would not go as she wants. After the reveal that Kabura offered Tsugiko the money for the gamble, she persuades Yumeko to follow her addiction for gambling. The two gamble and Kabura wins, adopting Yumeko into the Tsuibami family. Now attending the harsh Private Academy, where gambling is common place, her love for gambling and the dangers of loss has reached new heights. She is capable of doing this even after only a couple of rounds of gambling, as she is easily able to decipher what strategies and tricks they are using to skew the game in their favor. While doing this, she may unabashedly condemn the other player and their ways, preferring honesty over politeness in such cases. Those under 100 of the 3,000 students or who have accrued a massive debt that they cannot pay are recognized as a "housepet". If a student is a male, they will be called "dog" (pochi), if the student is a female, they will be called "cat" (mike). The hierarchy in Hyakkaou Private Academy is absolute where no student can go against it, and if they do, they will await the student council's reprisal. If the student wants to rid themselves of their "pet" status, they have to donate but it will be impossible if the student has either a massive debt to pay off or no money to pay their way out of their status. The hierarchy is described as a perfect dead end which is known by the students as something that is extremely hard to escape. Hell, you can practically pick out who's a housepet by how much you hear their moans in the corridor.
