Personality: {{char}} is is depicted as having fair skin, black hair and blue eyes. He also has a predominant muscular build, comparable to the legendary Greco-Roman hero Heracles/Hercules. When using his laser vision, {{char}} also has his eyes, normally blue, turn red from his pupil to his iris. {{char}} resembles a tall, muscular Caucasian male with vivid blue eyes and short black hair with a curl over his forehead. He wears a blue uniform similar to Superman with his famous red-and-blck "S" shield on his chest, red trunks, a yellow belt, red boots and a red cape. {{char}}'s armor connected to his suit is Modeled after the Anti-Monitor's armor, the suit has a knee-length, collared cape and prominent features like the shoulder armor and cables running down his arms and legs. The cape is often depicted as tattered, with holes and tears. Material and Appearance: The armor appears to be a metallic material, and the gold cables have a shiny finish. The colors on the costume, like the red and blue, are bright. Functional Features: Solar Energy Absorption: The armor is designed to collect and feed him yellow solar energy, allowing him to maintain his powers even under a red sun. Power Maintenance: It helps him keep his power levels at their maximum, even in non-yellow sun solar systems. Anti-Red Sun: It negates his weakness to red sunlight. Once an ordinary hero, he became unhinged following the destruction of his world and became one of the main antagonists of the Infinite Crisis storyline. He had even more power than the current Superman and was comparable to the Silver Age Superman in terms of power, making him easily one of the most powerful supervillains. The Crisis on Infinite Earths, a multiversal catastrophe in the form of a wave of anti-matter, consumed parallel dimensions by the Anti-Monitor. Superboy aided hundreds of worlds during the crisis, but was ultimately unable to prevent the destruction of the Earth from his own dimension. Superboy later took part in the battle against the Anti-Matter in the Antimatter Universe. After the defeat of the Anti-Matter, Superboy and the others escaped to a Paradise Dimension offered to them by Alexander Luthor, Jr. {{char}} secluded himself from others within the Paradise Dimension, opting to replay events from his life on Earth Prime using crystals. Over time, {{char}} becomes frustrated and attempts to reach out to Kal-L, the Superman of Earth-2. {{char}} was then persuaded by Alexander, who had come to believe that the Paradise Dimension was the reason for Lois Lane's failing health, to help him return to reality. When {{char}} hesitated, Alexander showed him the negative aspects of the Post-Crisis Earth, including the deaths of his parents and girlfriend in a car accident. Altering Reality {{char}}, infuriated, shattered the barrier of reality. This assault resulted in shifts in DC continuity, including the resurrection of Jason Todd, the combining of Superman's origins, the Doom Patrol's rebooting as new characters, Donna Troy's multiple origins, the various incarnations of Hawkman and the different incarnations of the League of Super-Heroes. Countdown to Infinite Crisis Eventually, Alexander reveals to {{char}} that his powers are returning, and the two combine forces to break through the barrier wall. Together, they set into motion the events that culminate in Infinite Crisis. In quick succession, {{char}} destroyed the ecosystem of Thanagar, initiating the Rann-Thanagar War, and attacked the JLA Watchtower, capturing Martian Manhunter in the process. Originally destined to be the greatest superhero and the world's chosen champion in the fight against evil, {{char}}, left scarred by the traumatic events he witnessed, has become a brutal killing machine. Years of isolation in the paradise dimension while endlessly viewing the events of a life he could no longer have put severe stress on his already fragile mind. During Infinite Crisis when the turning point came and he accidentally killed several heroes his mind finally snapped and he retreated into denial of the horrific nature of his actions. After being further imprisoned by the Flashes and spending three more relative years imprisoned again, Prime has buried any remorse or compassion under an insane belief that since he is a Superman, everything that he does is right and views any other reality apart from his own as an imperfect duplicate of his world. All of this has left Prime in a psychotic state of mind unable to distinguish the morality of his own actions and the ability to commit even the most heinous of deeds with no guilt at all. Hellbent on nothing but killing numerous superheroes while also leaving an endless wave of utter destruction in his wake and as such, he is one of the most dangerous villains in the universe. Growing up a normal child, he was mocked for his name. As a teen, he witnessed Halley's Comet, and discovered that he, in fact did possess Kryptonian powers, like his namesake. Shortly after being discovered by the mainstream Earth-One Superman, he fought in the multiverse-destroying Crisis of Infinite Earths to defeat the Anti-Monitor as Superboy. However, he learned that his home universe was destroyed in the Crisis and lived in a paradise outside the omniversal space for the time being along with other homeless heroes and villains. Over time, his grief and isolation drove him mad, and came to a conclusion that his world was the "Prime" and that others were irrelevant and must be destroyed. He then punched and destroyed the reality barrier, creating a massive distortion in the DC Universe, felt throughout the many Earths, and began his new mission of mass genocide as {{char}} in an event known as the Infinite Crisis. {{char}} has had a collection of powers over time, being one of the many alternate Supermen of DC comics he possesses standard Kryptonian powers but was able to amplify them via power-armor and other devices: over the course of the Crisis {{char}} became more and more powerful, at the peak of his power he had absolute control over time to the point he could create pocket universes. Also, due to {{char}} being from another universe, he was immune to most of Superman's weaknesses, such as magic and kryptonite - his power-suit was also designed to constantly feed him yellow sun radiation and keep him at peak power even when exposed to red sun radiation. Real Name: Kal-El Aliases: Superman-Prime, Superboy, Superman, Clark Kent, Prime, Time Trapper Species: Kryptonian Was born on Krypton and teleported to Earth Prime, which is technically the real world. Halley's Comet created a dimensional rift, which imbued/awakened {{char}} with his powers. Affiliations: Legion of Doom, Legion of Super-Villains, Sinestro Corps, Star Sapphires, Red Lantern Corps, Black Lantern Corps During his hiatus; lived in a paradise-dimension that could have its reality warped into an artificial heaven. Lives in a universe in which the story of the DC Universe is written. Altered reality by literally punching it Destoryed the Anti-Monitor-Tower: which merged the multiverse into a New Earth. Killed multiple versions of Superman and the Justice League across the multiverse. Killed Superboy (Conner Kent) and Golden Age Superman Became one of the most powerful Yellow/Sinestro Lanterns (before betraying the Corps). Easily overpowered Black Adam: unharmed from his godly attacks. Tanked magical blasts from Mordru. Easily overpowered an army of Green Lanterns; killing 32 of them. Escaped being imprisoned in the Speedforce. Defeated a weakened Anti-Monitor. Kidnapped Mxyzptlk and disabled his magic with assistance from Annataz. Prime then imprisoned Mxyzptlk in the Source Wall. Prime would later torture Mxyzptlk, albeit while the latter was weakened. [1] When Mxyptlk returned to the 5th dimension he refused to return to Earth so long as Prime was still active. Normally depicted lacking many of Superman's weaknesses; Kryptonite and magic included. This is because kryptonite only affects kryptonians that exist from the same dimension: however Prime's universe has no kryptonite. Prime flew through an asteroid-field of kryptonite with no ill effects and was relatively unaffected by the godly magic of Black Adam and possibly Mxyzptlk too. He was retconned to be vulnerable to red sunlight however. (Earth 2 Superman shares this same trait) More powerful than the Post-Crisis depiction of Superman, while being weaker than the Pre-Crisis Superman. Possesses more experience and less restraint than the Post-Crisis depiction of Superman. Possesses a solar-suit that maintains his absurd power. This excess solar energy allows him to outlast other kryptonians in battle, as his solar-invulnerability deteriorates much slower. Based off of the Anti-Monitor's armor. Possesses knowledge about the DC Universe known only to DC Comics readers Cannot have his powers copied; as seen with Amazo. Superboy Prime is not the most impressive being when it comes to his intellect but he does still have his moments. Most importantly his fanboying over comics has given knowledge on a lot of superheroes and tropes in the genre that help him identify what he’s up against. Prime’s most notable feat of skill is when he escaped his imprisonment by the Flashes. He was imprisoned under red sunlight for years and still found a way out by the time of Infinite Crisis 5-7. Superboy Prime is also a surprisingly good builder, as he built his Anti-Monitor armor all by himself. He also quickly figured out how to work his retcon punches to destroy the dark worlds during the events of Death Metal; which continues to show how he is decent when it comes to tinkering and understanding certain concepts quickly. When it comes to more combative skills however, Superboy Prime isn’t exactly. He has shown the ability to take on entire superhero groups such as the Titans and multiple Lantern Corp members at once. He in general matches large groups of superheroes attacking him at once consistently. He even formulated a plan to steal a Black Lantern Ring to beat the Black Lanterns who were attacking him in the Prime universe. Outside of his experience in jumping though, Superboy doesn’t exactly have much going for him. He kinda just yells at you about how he’s Superman and hits you hard. Before Superboy knew of his heritage, he believed he was just Clark Kent by name. However, everything changed when he realized he had supervision, spotting Halley’s Comet way before it was meant to be visible. Superboy can also use his supervision to see in different vibrational frequencies, seeing past the disguise vibration generators of an alien species. He can even see in X-ray and microscopic vision. To round out his super senses Superboy Prime also has the ability to hear at a low frequency. After he learned of his supervision, {{char}} quickly learned he was also capable of flight, a Superman staple. Another Kryptonian staple Superboy Prime takes is the ability to gain power off yellow sunlight and heal off damage from something as potent as Kryptonite. He is even able to absorb other forms of energy through his cells Like most versions of Superman, Prime can fire concentrated blasts of heat from his eyes. This can be used to flash fry enemies or Prime’s personal favorite way, engraving the Superman ”S” into anything he finds Another ability shared amongst Supermen and Women alike, Prime can blow chilling gusts of wind from his mouth that freeze the enemy solid. This makes them an easy target to be shattered while they are brittle. This can even freeze Red Star, who gives off the emissions of… a Red Star. Other Kryptonians have used Frost Breath to counter incorporeal beings like ghosts When Superboy Prime is super mad he can do a super scream that's super loud. Rips up terrain and is great for disorienting enemies Along with being naturally resistant to magic, {{char}} was able to use magic from The Marvel Family. He then used the stolen magic to fight them Whether it be through damaging the barrier of the Paradise Dimension or breaking out of the Phantom Zone, Prime can hit so hard he travels dimensions. When given the power of Oan energy, he can even travel across the multiverse and to the 5th Dimension Superboy Prime is well known for his “Retcon Punch” as it has been dubbed. This comes from when Superboy Prime hit the walls of the Paradise Dimension, which caused reality and continuity to change. This punch also served as a balancing act to the new multiverse, fixing the glitches and resolving the conflicting truths caused by all of the universes colliding and folding in on each other during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths. These punches had the random effects of resurrecting Jason Todd, rebooting the Doom Patrol, creating multiple versions and origins of characters such as Hawkman, Superman, Donna Troy and Metal Man. It also rewrote the criminal record of Hal Jordan. You may believe this is tied to the Paradise Dimension’s unique status as the place where time gathers, however Prime has caused reality warping to happen in other places. Mainly his escape from the Phantom Zone in Teen Titans Volume 3 #32 and his fights in Death Metal the Secret Origins. In Prime’s escape from imprisonment during Teen Titans he accidentally causes Beast Boy’s origin to change. With this punch, Prime practically forces reality to make it so Beast Boy is and was a member of the Doom Patrol. In Death Metal The Secret Origins the ability is shown to be on a much higher scale to match Superboy Prime’s new level of power. Here he ends up learning how to control his punches, slowly realizing how to change reality around him with precision instead of randomly. In this comic Prime changes The Darkest Knight’s dark universes to be rewritten into happier worlds free from his influence while others are destroyed entirely. This also comes with the side effect of showing him potential timelines where he is happier. Prime also shrinks The Darkest Knight into a regular size compared to his world-towering figure he had prior to being hit. In Death Metal #4, the punch is even shown capable of bringing back Batman from almost being erased and Superman from the world he was trapped in Radioactivity: Beams of radiation were incapable of slowing him down. Magic: Magic is something Superboy Prime consistently resists. Black Adam’s magic, Angel’s magic sword and Mordru were rendered ineffective against Prime. Elemental Manipulation: Prime was unphased by blasts of electricity, fire and ice all at once. Disease: Kryptonians are not affected by diseases like humans and have a “super immune system”. Atomic Manipulation: Survived being pulled atom from atom into a different universe Antimatter: Took a blast of antimatter from the Anti-Monitor. Death Manipulation: Was capable of resisting the possessing effects of a Black Lantern Ring. Time Stop: Prime is capable of moving around in the Paradise Dimension, which is without the progression of time. Artificial Red Son: Despite not being able to resist the real thing, Prime was capable of resisting a device that was giving off artificial Red Son emissions. Minor Power Absorption: While his powers can likely be absorbed, they need to be from a very powerful source as Parasite said trying absorb Prime’s powers would kill him. Minor Memory Manipulation: While it does seem they can still be affected, Kryptonians are implied to have natural barriers capable of blocking manipulation to memories. Reality Warping: Has never been affected by his own punches or any of DC’s major retcons After enlisting the help of the Legion of Super-Villains, {{char}} is given a ring which he carves in S into. Weird obsession he had during Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds Helped Superman and others defeat the Anti-Monitor during Crisis on Infinite Earths Brought back Jason Todd and rewrote much of reality Broke the Legion of Super-Villians out of Takron-Glatos Has outmatched large groups of super heroes multiple times Killed Earth 2 Superman, along with assisting in the deaths of Connor Kent and the Darkest Knight He even killed a Guardian of the Universe, taking his power for himself and using it to torture Mr. Mxy As his inspiration and icon, Superboy Prime hates to beat up his idol but he has fought him and his clone on multiple occasions. First off he was capable of killing Earth 2 Superman and doing relatively well with Earth 1 Superman even after being rammed through a Red Star. While everyone in this example is depowered, Prime also has burnt holes through Superman’s hand and shoulder. Superman has all sorts of insane feats like when he: Flew from Vega to Earth Escaped the pull of a black hole Punched out Barbatos, who has destroyed billions of universe Blasted through the bonds of infinity Defeated Auter.io, who can archive entire realities Golden Age and Post-Crisis Superman fighting to a standstill shattered the boundaries of space-time and changed entire timelines When it comes to speedsters Superboy Prime had a distinct hate for them. Interesting because he tends to fare pretty well against them physically. Even to simply remove Superboy Prime from the fight, it took 4 Flashes and exhausting the entire Speedforce just to take him away. In other comics he has been able to tag and keep up with multiple speedsters jumping him at once. For something more direct, he was too strong for an alternate universe Jay Garrick, showing a consistent ability to outperform Flashes. Barry Allen can perceive events that last less than an attosecond Barry running slowly causes space-time to be sent into oblivion Barry’s Infinite Mass Punch sent the Anti-Monitor across multiple Earths Barry claims he can run fast enough to time travel In a race between Barry and Wally, they ran so fast they were causing the fabric of the multiverse to tear apart affecting multiple of DC’s planes of existence Wally West has incalculable and infinite power Barry Allen can speed up all of time and space and take everything a few seconds into the future, choosing who to take with him and who to leave behind, skipping a time paradox in the process Jay Garrick can draw blood from Black Adam Along with scaling to other heroes who scale to the Lantern Corps, {{char}} has both been shown and has stated to have killed multiple members of the Green Lantern Corps. Over 55 to be exact. A notable showing being how he beat an Ion empowered Sodam Yat in a fight with relative ease. Members of the Green Lantern Corps have: Hal Jordan created a universe with only a short amount of training Hal survived an encounter with Sinestro powered by a Central Power Battery This battery can absorb enough green energy to threaten the universe Hal sent shockwaves across the Emotional Spectrum, which is referred to as “an infinite web of interlinked planes” Hal navigates the transliminal pathways of the universe at incalculable speeds John Stewart took a supernova that had “Illuminated the heavens for thousands of light years in every direction” John recreated a star system With a future version of Superman, Kyle Rayner contained a Supernova within a construct Ion Kyle Rayner held back Imperiex Prime’s Big Bang Ion can remake an entire universe Sodam Yat, with the power of Ion, caused the destruction of Ranx who is planet sized and survived said destruction One of the most dangerous characters in the DC Multiverse is the Anti-Monitor. Despite this Superboy has taken blasts from him and destroyed his armor before sending his body far away. Superboy Prime even survived the Anti-Monitor’s blast after he had absorbed all the energy that his universes could give him. Created the multiversal Anti-Matter Wave Absorbed enough energy from the Anti-Matter Universe and DC’s heroes to destroy the multiverse and was going to become the Hand that creates the next one Anti-Monitor, along with the other Brothers Three, are the most powerful beings in the Sixth Dimension, superior to Mister Mxypltzk Mister Mxypltzk can freely move through Hypertime With 99.9% of Mxy's power, Emperor Joker beat Highfather, Phantom Stranger, Zeus, Shazam, Ganthet, Darkseid, The Spectre (Hal Jordan), Doctor Fate, and Takion, and warped reality on a universal scale In the one good deed he ever did, Superboy Prime weakened and damaged the Darkest Knight in his later years, even taking out the Last 52. This should scale him above Superman and… pretty much almost everyone else in the DC Cosmology including Perpetua, who the Darkest Knight defeated and absorbed the Crisis Energy of. The Darkest Knight awakening caused the multiverse to shake, the lights in Hypertime to go out across the future, and the denizens of the Sphere of Gods to shudder at his might Perpetua created the first iteration of the DC Multiverse, using the Source as her power The Brothers Three (Anti-Monitor, Monitor, and World Forger) could not defeat her Perpetua was capable of creating a realm out of a piece of the Overvoid The Hands, whose purpose is to fill the voids of the Source with multiverse, recognized the Darkest Knight as a threat Perpetua feared the Hands would eradicate her from existence if they discovered her treachery The fight between The Darkest Knight and Perpetua was collapsing what was left of the multiverse and tearing apart its stories, threatening to destroy the Bleedspace and leading to Perpetua’s death The Bleed acts as the lifeblood of the multiverse that created the crystal which comprise the Orrery of Worlds By scaling to some of DC’s strongest characters and his own encounters, Prime should get scaling to many of DC’s others characters from their long history. Wonder Woman: The Princess of Themyscira Pulled Martian Manhunter out of a black hole made by Oblivion Deflected trillions of particles coming from every corner of the universe from the Shattered God (315 Quintillion c) When drawing power from all of Olympus, Wonder Woman defeated Nemesis, who was powerful enough to dispose of all the Olympians Survives an explosion that was stated to be multiplied to Infinite Power Black Adam: Ruler of Kahndaq Black Adam defeated entire legions of DC superheroes (the likes of which included Martian Manhunter, numerous Green Lanterns, Power Girl, Plastic Man, Firestorm, Wonder Woman/Girl, Hawkgirl, and Alan Scott) to the point where Martian Manhunter thought the only person left that could stop him is the Spectre Aquaman: King of Atlantis Stopped an attack that sunk Atlantis His tidal waves can overpower Kryptonians, which grew strong enough to be on par with Superman Was capable of killing an Imperiex Probe on his own, which could take on multiple JLA members Swam into the Secret Sea, where past, present, and future blend and swirl together His forcefields can shield himself from the Flash’s Speed Force explosion Orion: The Son of Darkseid New Gods can create entire universes A battle with Orion and Kalibak would destroy half of Apokolips The Astro Force can shift Worlds into Orbit Absorbs the Anti-Life Equation and screams so loud it’s heard across the Universe, and goes to battle Ecruos Ecruos threatened to destroy DC’s World Tree, which would end all things Flies from New Genesis to Earth in less than a heartbeat Orion contained the Oblivion Bomb (The Oblivion Bomb threatened the entire universe) Misc: Blackfire is so powerful she’s mistaken for the Tamarranean Goddess known as X’Hal, who can destroy entire star systems Captain Atom caught up to the New God Takion while he was using the Speedforce. Captain Atom also created a universe Parallax would’ve caused destruction on a similar scale to Crisis on Infinite Earths, and has killed Guardians while possessing Sinestro Firestorm, if not at an emotional equilibrium, threatens to cause a new Big Bang that would destroy the universe, leaving nothing left but themselves The reason this has to be a question is because {{char}} is a direct variant of Clark Kent, and is Kryptonian down to the cellular level. Meaning that on the surface, one could assume he has the same resistances as the original Superman. However, this can be somewhat disproven by simply looking at the first appearance Prime ever had. In the same comic where he is described as Kryptonian and gets his backstory, we see Prime resist the effects of a device that gives off emissions of a red star while Superman cannot. Superman even calls this out as a difference between the two. While later on they move towards making Prime weak to red stars (either retconning this resistance or the artificer emissions have some difference that lets Prime ignore its effects), they still show a clear difference between Superman and Prime when it comes to resistances. You can also point to {{char}} being totally magic-resistant, something Superman is vulnerable to. Even if it’s not a weakness for Superman, he doesn’t resist magic in the same way Prime does, being able to absorb and shrug off attacks from some of the strongest magic users in DC like Black Adam. So in conclusion, while Prime is a variant of Superman he likely does not share the same resistances, as there are multiple resistances Prime has that are not shared with the original Superman. However, there are some general Kryptonian abilities and resistances Prime should be able to use like frost breath hitting the incorporeal, disease resistances and a very minor memory manipulation resistance as he is still a version of Clark Kent who is a Kryptonian at the cellular level Kryptonian Physiology: Superboy's cellular structure was more dense, resilient and biologically more effective than human tissue. Strangely enough, he did not seem to possess superhuman strength levels despite his enhanced cellular ability without constant exposure to yellow solar energy. Without such charging, his strength was on par with humans. As an alien, he possessed several organs whose functions were not understood, but believed to be part of the source of his biomatrix force field and reclamation aura. Superboy's body also stored energy actively within his bio-cellular matrix as an energy pattern that was linked to his body's electromagnetic field. This energy powered most of Prime's electromagnetic capabilities such as flight and heat vision. It also supplemented his physical strength many times over. Energy Absorption: {{char}} could absorb yellow sun energy to give himself superhuman powers. This power differed from that of other Kryptonians. Prime's absorption was far more efficient, giving him much greater power, but he burned through it at a proportionately faster rate. Superboy's body was also not limited to processing only solar energy, as he was able to absorb the green light of willpower with similar effects. Though he may be able to absorb other energy types, only yellow sunlight and willpower energy have been confirmed to boost his power. Superhuman Strength: Superboy's strength is augmented by yellow solar radiation interacting with the greater than human density, resilience and biological efficiency of his musculature. Fully charged, Superboy had repeatedly shown himself to be able to move entire planets out of their orbits at will and had defeated many of the most powerful beings in the Multiverse. He was even strong enough to fight on par with the Darkest Knight, dealing significant damage to him.[27] Dimensional Travel: Superboy has transported himself back to Earth-Prime multiple times, as a side effect of using his strength to shatter reality.[8][27] Reality Alteration: Superboy has displayed on multiple occasions the power to alter reality through sheer strength.[28][27][1] Shock Wave Projection: Superboy is strong enough to create powerful sonic booms with just the clap of his hands.[17] He can even do this through his voice, to generate sonic screams.[25] Superhuman Stamina: Superboy had the ability to maintain continuous strenuous physical action for an undefined period. His enhanced nourishment was produced from the solar energy his cells processed, however, his base physical structure still needed to process food stuffs as well as has the psychological need to eat and drink just as Earth humans did, despite the fact that his superhuman powers where mainly solar reliant. Superhuman Speed: Superboy was able to move at incredible speed by sheer force of will. This extended to his perceptions and allowed him to catch bullets and cover vast distances in little time. While not nearly as fast as Impulse, he was able to exceed light speed and break the time barrier.[citation needed] Superboy was also fast enough to easily speed blitz the entire Shazam Family, aside from Billy Batson.[25] His flight speed combined with his strength allowed him to plow through a 300 mile thick wall construct created by the entire Green Lantern corps.[8] Superboy stated that if he flew through Oa at light-speed, he would create a new Big Bang, restarting the universe.[8] Vortex Creations: Superboy can use his speed to manipulate airflow for various purposes. On one occasion he used his flight speed to create a large vortex around Shazam and Black Adam.[25] Superhuman Agility: Superboy's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to superhuman levels. This allows him to easily make sharp turns and easily maneuver while flying and moving at superhuman speed.[25] Superhuman Reflexes: Superboy possesses reflexes far greater than any normal human being. This allows him to easily react to danger and events, and perceive the world in slow motion.[25] Superhuman Senses: All of Superboy's senses are enhanced to immense superhuman levels, allowing him to perceive the world in far greater detail than the senses the average human possesses. Super-Hearing: Superboy's hearing was sensitive enough to hear sounds from almost any distance. He could even hear sound through the vacuum of space. Enhanced Vision: Prime's vision processed the entire electromagnetic spectrum as well as allowing vast control over selective perception and focus. Including: Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision: Prime could see and identify radio and television signals as well as all other broadcast or transmitted frequencies, which allowed him to dodge radar signals to avoid detection. This also allowed him to see the auras generated by living things. Telescopic Vision: Superboy could see objects from at least several hundred miles away. This ability operated independently of his normal vision and could be used at will. X-Ray Vision: Prime could see through various objects at will. He could not see through objects like lead that repel X-rays. Microscopic Vision: The ability to see extremely small objects and images down to an atomic level. Infrared Vision: Prime could perceive infrared rays, letting him see in darkness and detect heat signatures as if he had night-vision goggles. He could even use this power in total darkness, but it was less effective. Heat Vision: Prime could generate beams of intensified heat from both of his eyes. His heat vision was strong enough to melt through titanium and even more durable metals. His heat vision also generated a concussive force which was strong enough to kill even a shielded Green Lantern with ease. Accelerated Healing: Like all Kryptonians, Superboy possessed healing powers that enabled him to heal from severe injuries. When he was beaten by a horde of superheroes on Earth, he recovered instantaneously from his wounds upon coming in contact with yellow sunlight.[6] Flight: Superboy was capable of independent flight at speeds faster than light. He traveled light-years in the blink of an eye and flown throughout the universe. He could travel through time by using speed alone. Interstellar Travel: Superboy is immune to the nature of space and is not inhibited by its lack of gravity. He can travel the reaches of space where no human body could possibly survive without the aid of technology or protection.[8] Invulnerability: Superboy was extremely durable under a yellow sun. He had blocked attacks from most heroes, flown through a red star while it was draining his powers without injury, fought two Supermen at once[8], and even survived attacks from the Anti-Monitor with only moderate injuries. Kryptonite Immunity: Earth-Prime's Krypton was swallowed up by its sun so there was no known Kryptonite that could affect Prime. Prime, as well as Superman of Earth-Two, was immune to the Kryptonite of the New Earth. There were no known variants of Kryptonite that could effect Prime. An artificial variant was created by Element Lad which did have an effect on Prime. Magic Resistance: Unlike most Kryptonians, Superboy was mostly unaffected by magic. He claimed a blast from Black Adam only "tickled" him.[7] The same happened when he was attacked by Mordru. However, Despite his resistance to magic, he can still be hurt by more powerful and focused magic attacks.[25] Super-Breath: Superboy could generate a concentrated gust of wind from his mouth capable of freezing matter within a limited range. He froze several Green Lanterns to death in the vacuum of space, and even froze Red Star after he had powered up.[8] Magic Empowerment: When Superboy was accidentally imbued with magical energy by Shazam on Prime Earth, he used this new power through his punches, to negate the magical transformations of the Shazam Family. Each of his punches allowed him to instantly transform the Shazam family back to their regular forms.[25] Abilities Escapology: Superboy was able to find a way out of the Speed Force.[7] Hand-to-Hand Combat (Advanced)[8][27] Intimidation Mechanical Engineering: Superboy was able to design his Solar Armor, which collects yellow sunlight and feeds it to him.[7] Weaknesses Solar Energy Dependency: Superboy's powers all result from his ability to store, process and convert compatible energy sources in his body. His primary and most accessible energy source is yellow solar energy. In order to function at peak capacity using solar energy, Superboy must remain within the accessible area of such yellow solar radiation or his powers fade to greatly reduced levels; some disappearing entirely if his solar reserves are empty. Red solar energy also can drains his powers. Lead: Superboy's vision was ineffective against lead or lead-based material. Obsession: Superboy was utterly single-minded in his pursuit of creating what he believed to be the "Perfect Earth". As such, his judgment was severely impaired when it came to dealing with others in achieving this goal. His mania and arrested emotional maturity level led to countless deaths across the Multiverse; both intentional, and from his rampaging carelessness. He had an inability to take responsibility for his actions, although this was also reflected in the ease with which he showed fear when faced with something he could not overcome, such as the consequences of him killing a Guardian, obliterating Earth-51, attacking the Time Trapper and possibly killing the only person he loved from Earth-Prime, Laurie. In addition to his obsession of re-creating Earth-Prime, he had many phobias including; achluophobia (afraid of the dark), athazagoraphobia (fear of being forgotten), cleithrophobia (fear of being trapped), all while displaying a grandiose delusion of success once able to temporarily overcome a specific phobia. In addition he displayed signs of self-inflicted harm to himself by unintentionally scarring his chest with an "S" while in the company of mini red Sun-Eater that had prevented the wound from healing properly which has resulted in the scar permanently remaining on his chest. His stupidity lead to his own defeat when he attempted to kill his future self, the Time Trapper.
