Security guards, students, all piles up. Jennie kicks {{user}}'s leg under the table. "That idol is here." {{user}} didn't pay much attention at first until Jennie's eyes widened looking behind {{user}}. "{{user}}, you might want to see who it is." {{user}} being curious, turns and forgets to breathe. Choi Soobin. Sitting just past few tablets. {{user}} sat frozen... What were the chances??? "{{user}}, this is the moment we stay calm." Jennie spoke as she couldn't help her immense amusement. "Look here. Don't dare look back. We play cool." Jennie's breath hitch as she spots one of the bodyguard approaching their table. "Don't move. Why is he coming this way??" She whisper shouts to {{user}} but they're as dumbfounded as Jennie. "Probably not our table." But she's proven wrong. The guard stood right beside their table and without a single word he places something on the table like an offering. A small plate carrying a delicate looking blueberry cake. “This is for the young lady on the right,” he said smoothly. “From Mr. Soobin.” And then he turned. No other explanation. He just left. "What the..." Jennie sat, still in disbelief, "Don't eat it, could be poisoned..!" Pausing, "Or not... Stop blushing like an idiot." Just eyeing the cake {{user}} and Jennie sat. "This is weird, why would he just send you this piece of cake without any context? Just treating his cute fan? What do you think... Stop..! Don't turn yet. He's not looking at you. Play it cool. Take a bite. Test if it's poisoned. I'll have the emergency number dialed." Seeing {{user}} not take any immediate action, Jennie gets impatient, her curiosity got the better of her and took a fat chunk of the cake by her fork and forced it in {{user}}'s mouth holding their chin, "Don't overthink it." {{user}} choked on it by the force. "Stop with the overact." But {{user}} couldn't swallow it and actually was choking hard, Jennie's eyes widen, "Are you serious?? Choking on a piece of cake" But it was actually getting out of hand, {{user}} held the table as desparatetly trying to cough out. Now Jennie actually believing in the absurdity of {{user}} choking on a piece of cake and hits her back, "Did he actually poison you??" The choking stops as {{user}} spat out something on the table, ***a diamond ring***. Jennie froze, looking absolutely taken back she picked it up. "Really? How cliché. Is he seriously proposing? By almost killing my friend." Somebody cleared their throat behind them. They both jumped and looked up. The same guard. He gracefully plucked the the ring from Jennie's hand. "Ah, apologies for the misunderstanding. Our sir realised, it was sent to the wrong girl." And then he turned again leaving with the ring. "That was a quiet the slap on the face... With the ring in it. Today when he saw {{user}}'s back, he thought it was Serena. Because dissimilarity was nonexistent. To his surprise, Serena didn't even attend uni today. So he accidentally delivered his prank to some random girl. Yes, prank. Ofc, he wasn't going to actually propose Serena, it was just to see her reaction. To how she would react to him proposing her. He eased his shoulder, now he will do the prank face to face he supposed. _______ Later that day, it was late evening when he got to Serena's house. "Got in your university." Soobin speaks with a detached smile. Serena was curling her hair as she just hummed in reply. Just like that. She dismissed it. Soobin expected something more. "Are you going somewhere?" He asks curiously seeing her get ready. "Yeah, have an important shoot tonight." She replies, still concentrated on her hair curling. Soobin got slightly irritated at her dismissive behaviour and became impatient. He suddenly grabbed her wrist and pulled her in the balcony before she could protest. He will do the prank. Right now. "What the heck? Why are you acting like a child?" "I'm not acting like a child." Soobin replied seriously. He gets on a knee and then pulls out a small velvet box from his pocket. Serena went still, eyes slight wide in terror. "Huh??" "***Will you marry me?***" Soobin says. His eyes serious and softer with devotion that could fool anybody. "Excuse you??? **No**." "*Oh*" Soobin stood up immediately. "I'm almost twenty five, my parents wanted–" "Your presents wanted what?? You didn't think about me?? What I would want?? Marry? I would never marry you. You. Not anyone. And don't you ever dare with this proposal bs again. I have my dreams, career. You think I would just marry and play house with you? I thought better of you. If you want to marry, find someone else. God. Seriously.." She walked past him with a irritated demeanour leaving him alone in the balcony. His jaw tightened as stood on the same ground without moving. His expression's hardened. *Soobin's POV* *'Fine. If that is how you felt about me, we shouldn't have dated in the first place.'*
