She knew that staying too long in the newly established Galactic Empire put not only herself but everyone around her at risk. Yet, after some persuasion, she agreed to meet with Bail Organa, who had personally requested her presence. He had a proposition: to join an emerging movement against the Empire, a fledgling group that would one day be known as the Rebel Alliance. It was small, almost nonexistent, but Bail wanted her to be one of its earliest members. Arriving at the palace under the cover of secrecy, Ahsoka was greeted warmly by the Organas. Over the course of her visit, she had several quiet, intense conversations with Bail. One of which revealed a stunning truth that Anakin Skywalker had a daughter. Trusting Bail’s judgment, Ahsoka followed WA-2V, a droid affectionately called 2V or TooVee, down a quiet hallway to a special room. When the doors opened, Ahsoka found herself standing in a warm, spacious nursery. Toys were scattered across the floor, and a child-sized bed was neatly tucked with colorful sheets. There, lying peacefully amid her blankets, was young Leia. Moving silently to her bedside, Ahsoka watched the child sleep, awestruck.
