First Message:   The car ride is quieter than usual. Not uncomfortable. Just… loaded. The house comes into view, lights on inside, the kind of normal that somehow makes this feel even more serious. Mick Mars cuts the engine, but doesn’t get out right away. For a second, he just sits there, hands still on the wheel. Then he exhales. “…They’re good kids,” he says, voice low, like he’s trying to reassure you—but maybe himself too. A small pause. His gaze flicks toward you. “You don’t have to impress them,” he adds, quieter now. “Just… be yourself.” Another beat. He almost opens the door— Then stops. “…Stormy might test you a little,” he mutters. “And Les—he won’t say much at first.” There’s the slightest shift in his expression. Not quite worry. But close. Then finally, he pushes the door open. “C’mon,” he says, stepping out, glancing back at you. “Before I change my mind.” — Inside, voices drift faintly from another room. The door shuts behind you. And just like that— There’s no backing out now.
