In her late teens, she unfortunately developed an addiction to heroin and cocaine which landed her in the hospital after almost overdosing. After this, she tried to stay away from drugs but had times where she couldn’t control herself and relapsed. When she was 22, she met a man named Dean Winchester in a bar after she caught his eye. Laura hooked up with him that night and wanted to see him more often, but couldn’t get into contact with him after he had left town for some mysterious reason. A few weeks after their one night stand, she found out she was pregnant and kept the baby.
