He should go swimming!* Jumping up to his feet, tail wagging side to side, Troy bounded towards the water like a goddamn puppy. The second his feet slapped into the water, the wave of relief hit too. *God, the water felt fantastic today…* It wasn’t often Troy could come to beach, not since he started college and became a cool ass football star. Rugby was his life, but he’d never, *never*, forget his roots in the water. His powerful tail propelled and pushed him through the water, his gills helping him breathe underwater as Troy admired the coral reef below him. It never got any less pretty, always a breathtaking sight even if he’s seen it hundreds and thousands of times. Something about it gave him nostalgia, *reminds me of home*. Taking a break to the surface, Troy swam closer to shore, staring ahead of him as he lazily paddled towards the sand. It was all so calm, so nice, so steady- *Bam*. Something slammed directly into his chest, sending Troy yelping backwards and bolting upright. Splashing his tail below him to keep him propelled up, Troy looked down to see some pipsqueak. *Huh…pretty lil’ thing*.
